Pat: I think everyone decided it would be good to have an open compeitition.
However, if you have a gates and fences to submit that would be great.

I'm not sure, Pat. I stopped and took several photos of fences and 1
gate this morning on my way back from Whitney. I plan to stick to the
original theme and see how it goes. Since you have been able to get on
DeeAnn's e-mail list and I haven't, you can send her an e-mail and ask
her, or Norma.

Peggy did we vote on changing the topic to Open? I just remember the
discussion. I have been taking pix of fences and gates since our trip to
S.A. including and up to last Sat., none very good (all 7's) but thought
that was the object of having topics, the challenge, judging apples compared
to apples rather than fruit salad. Ugh what an analogy. Anyway...Pat

Well, it isn't in the rules anywhere - at least as far as I can tell
- but DeeAnn had said at one of the first meetings that we were allowed
2 entries per class. We are looking forward to your entries. Remember,
we have changed the May topic to "OPEN" so you can submit whatever you
like.
See you in May.

Hi Everyone:
Wanted to let you know the old car club of Cleburne (don't know their
club name) will be at the Rocking K Cafe on Hwy 171 on Saturday, April
9 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. This will be a great opportunity to
try your skills on some beautiful old cars. Plan on having lunch
there too. Karen serves a great hamburger.
Be sure to take your tripod.
For those of you not familiar with the area. Take Main St. (Hwy 174)
south out of Cleburne, turn left on Hwy 171 toward Hillsboro and go
about 4 miles. It's on the left just past the FM 2135 turn.
Have fun. I won't be able to be there since we will be out of town
that day.
Norma
I can't make this one. Have fun. Pat

This is a reminder about the field trip we had scheduled for April 2
to the Botanic Garden.
Who will be interested in going and what time should we set up to get
there?
We can discuss this in more detail at the meeting Thursday, but be
giving it some thought.

Kathy and I went to a camera class in Fort Worth last night and
learned about a software program you can download for free. I have
been playing with it this morning and it seems pretty easy. Even I
can figure out most of the features. If you want to give it a try, go
here for the download:
