photo darkroom equipment. He listed several items, including a 120 medium format
camera as well as a 35mm Minolta. He was talking way over my head about
everything he had, so I'm sorry I can't describe better. Anyway, he has had it
all packed away for 10 years and wants to "clean his closet". He said everything
was in excellent condition, some barely used. He wants $300 for everything,
which sounds like a heck of a deal if you are interested in doing your own

Norwegian Country Christmas December 5, 9-5, Clifton, Texas.
Dancing in the streets in authentic Norwegian costumes. Homes tour ($10)
includes St. Olaf's Church (Old Rock Church) in Cranfills Gap. Authentic
Norwegian lunch $10.

Must pay for lunches in advance ($10) by mailing check and name to Norwegian
Country Tour, 115 N. Ave. D, Clifton, TX 76634. May also buy Home Tour tickets
in advance ($10) by mailing checks to same address. However, Home Tour tickets
will be available that day. Specify what you are paying for.

If you want to take photos of small towns (a contest theme),  a good route to
take would be to drive from Clifton to Cranfills Gap to take pictures of St.
Olaf's church and Cranfills Gap, then drive North from Cranfills Gap to Iredell
(population abut 300), then from Iredell go East to Walnut Springs (population
abut 500), then from Walnut Springs go North to Glen Rose, then East back to
Cleburne on Highway 67.

CCC has scheduled a Field Trip Saturday, Dec. 5 - the Norwegian Country
Christmas in Clifton from 9 - 5 p.m. Events include dancing in the streets in
authentic Norwegian costumes and other festivities, plus a Home Tour including
St. Olaf's church in Cranfills Gap ($10 for home tour) and an authentic
Norwegian lunch ($10 - reservations required).

We can find out who wants to go and make driving arrangements Monday night.

The change I made recently to lvp220@... isn't working too well, so from
now on please send any email to me at lvp220@...  Hope this is the last
change.

Here are the entry rules for the Eyes of Texas Photography contest.

Any size allowed. Must be FRAMED and have wire hangers and ready to
hang. No sawtooth hangers. Artist must be 18 years or older. No studio
or company entries. Entry fee $35 for 1 or 3 photos. All work must be
for sale and have a price set on the entry form. The art center retains
a 20% commission. The art center assumes no liability for loss or damage.

This is a juried competition. Photos must be turned in between Friday,
Nov. 13 from 10 - 5:30 or Saturday, Nov. 14 between 8:30 - 12 noon.
Photos not accepted must be picked up after 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14.
Turn in and pickup place is the Old Post Office Museum and Art Center,
510 Third Street, Graham, Texas 76450.

Prizes - 1st place, $500, 2nd place, $250, 3rd place, $125, fourth place
$75. Honorable mentions get ribbons.

The judge is Rick Tolar, a photographer for Texas Highways who
specializes in macro photography.
