20 February is the submissions deadline! Only 2 weeks are remained untill the submission deadline for all of research abstracts, workshops, meetings, and applying for becoming a reviewer of the conferenece, as well as submitting satellite programs. SICOBAIR 2009 Satellite Programs Are you interested in seeing microscopic hand surgery, base of skull surgery, or rhinoplasty? Are you interested in stem cell research? Are you intereste in chatting with experts in a friendly environment? Have you heard about evidece-based medicine? To improve the scientific quality and also fun of the conference, we have managed some satellite programs, including live operating room, breakfast meetings, visiting research centers, and evidence-based CPC and journal club. For more info about SICOBAIR satellite programs, please click here. Creative Scientific Activities Do you need help for your research project? We have made a Consultation Station for helping you. Like an emergency department, you will enter Triage first, and then you will be guided to the related part of the station, like "conceptual phase and literature review" or "Designing and analysis of study". You will be discharged with appropriate recommendations, further readings, etc just like an emergency room! In Outdoor workshops, special teams will use the posters of participants (with authors' permission) for educational purposes, and will discuss research aspects of selected posters beside them. Research Entities Assembly Here you can meet various entities related to student research, such as research centers, student research groups, networks, associations, conferences, research courses and summer schools, etc. If you are organizer of any of above, you can submit your research entity on the conference website. Awards There are various awards, including the best study in each oral and poster session, the best study design award, the most novel idea award, the best workshop award, the best meeting award, the best passive participant award, and the best of bests award. Review Process and Review Team We have designed a complex and precise review process to select the accepted articles and also award winners. Concepts such as advanced adjustments for reviewer's scoring and designing and validating various reviewing checklists for different study types and topics are used for the first time in a studetn conference. In the conference, students and also university professors will review and score studies. For selecting student reviewers, we will consider their CVs, score each CV and select the ones with best qualifications. You have the opportunity to join the review team by applying in the conference website up to 20 February. All student reviewers will be honored in the closing ceremony. We will provide you with free SIM cards during the conference! All abstracts from abroad are considered for selecting the best ones for giving Travel Grants.
