Position Summary - Senior Business Systems Analyst
Duration of Assignment: 6-8 months
Portland, OR

Are they looking for a former developer who is now a BSA? Or can they
just be a BSA with ability to read and understand mainframe code? ----
1. Preferably a former developer who is now a BSA, as I need someone
with a lot of mainframe technical knowledge. If the BSA who can read
code is a exceptional BSA and is really good at reading code and
figuring out what the code does and how it needs changed, then I am
also interested.

Will this person mainly be gathering requirements and writing
specifications . . . or something else? ---- 2. mainly be gathering
requirements and writing specifications. But they'll have to do a lot
of research in the current systems in order to write the specs.

Work with users and other IT personnel to analyze, design, and test
mainframe system changes, includes writing documents for user
requirements, analysis, design, and testing.
Must be able to read and research mainframe Cobol programs and work
with overseas users and resources.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years analysis experience.
• Development experience in mainframe IMS/DB2.
• Must be a quick learner and good writer.
Tools/Applications:
• Mainframe Cobol
• DB2
• IMS DB/DC
