This one is not an "all-in-one" like some of the Tandy machines. It is
a white case with the dual drives to the right when you face it. I
haven't cracked the case on it to look inside, but I suspect it
doesn't have a hard drive, but it might. I fiddled with it and got
sidetracked so it hasn't been looked at in awhile.

Someone told me that a number of Tandy 1000s remain in school systems
around the US and enough of them exist that some vendors find it worth
their time to carry parts for them. I guess I should plug around
Google some.

Was the Tandy 1000 similar to the Tandy Color Computer? I used to have a
Co Co, with no hard drive but DUAL disk drives! It was hooked up to an old
tv in my parent's basement and I spent a summer down there trying to figure
out graphics.

It's a wonder I ever got a date...
