Hi,
I shoot medium format B/W film (6x7cm negs) and scan them to create 115 MB
files. Subject matter is landscapes only. I want to be able to stack 2 to 4 of
these large files to increase depth-of-field. My computer is running Windows XP
with 4 GB of RAM. With the /3GB Boot.ini switch about 3.4 GB is available at
least to some applications like Photoshop CS3 (what about CombineZ?)
I recently heard about CombineZM , did a little browsing and discovered there is
also a CombineZP.
Because image scans are not perfectly aligned and can vary slightly in size (in
the direction of the scanning head) I expect I will need to use the
Resize/Rotate/Move method I read about in the CombineZM help file I found... is
this also available in CombineZP? I'm not looking for a quick and dirty method,
but something that I can make work. Time is not big a factor.
Question, will either of these (or any other program ) work with for my
situation?
Thanks,
Ken
