This is a small group of dedicated amateur and professional astronomers that are systematically searching for NEW UNDISCOVERED comets. We are NOT a group that is dedicated to the search of EXISTING comets. SOHO comet hunters are also welcome, but the primary target membership of this group is from ground-based amateur telescopes. All amateur and professional astronomers are welcome to join. This is a friendly comet hunters forum where we share information on comet hunting techniques. Don't let the group size deceive you. Some members of this group have discovered many comets and their expertise is invaluable. No spamming or flaming please. Please act professional and be polite and courteous to each other.

This group was founded by Bill Logan, Edgar, Az, who left the group in June 2007. He built this group and his efforts are appreicated. Your humble moderator is now Don Machholz, of Colfax, CA.
