Hello David,
no, it isn't: around 2007, Jan. 20 the extension of the observable
dust tail has been extimated in the order of ~1 AU.

One month later, on 2007, Feb. 20 the dust will estend up to ~10^9 Km
(plot #2); please, remember that the dust grains are moving along
hyperbolic trajectories --> extremely high speeds!

This:
1) isn't uncommon (cometary dust normally moves out the orbit of
Pluto, if you provide it enough time)
2) it doesn't mean that we will *see* the dust tail that long (its
extremities will be extremely diluted, and the sunlight scattering at
such distances is not very effective).
