Sky was clear here tonight but the transparency was a bit off and the sky never
seemed to get really dark. Consequently there wasn't much to see visually. A
couple of rare glimpses of tail were probably wishful thinking. Imaged the
comet at 11:27 UT, image also a little light-affected - this is a crop:

Lester Barnes of Sth Aust took a great shot tonight, time not known but would
not be much different to the above. In the inverted view the tail shows faintly
to the edge of the frame, 18 degrees:

My full frame when really mangled shows the tail to 18 degrees and possibly out
to the edge of the frame or 23 degrees, but the data was pretty poor:
