Component B of 73P/S-W was observed in photometric outburst at 03:34
U.T. on April 3 using a 41-cm Newtonian at 70x. The comet appears as a
bright stellar object of magnitude 10.8 surrounded by a very faint,
circular, haze. The DC is 9. Best assumption is that a new disruption
of the nucleus is in progress.
