Opening area of windows   Message List

Dear COMIS users,

I have a question about the calculation of the opening area in the
case of pivoting windows. For this type of windows the opening plane
is rotated with respect to the window plane, and additionally there
are two or four (depending if the pivoting axe is at the bottom/ top
or at the middle) triangular side openings. My question is: which is
the opening area to introduce in COMIS? Is it the sum of the three?
And the central rectangular opening plane should be measured
orthogonal to the structural opening or to the tilted surface? Are
there general guidelines or the choice is somehow arbitrary?

Thank you very much for your collaboration.

Best regards,

Marcello CACIOLO
