Because is no easy bussines, even is only one product... is so complicated as the money in the bank...only one product to..
But talking about salt This have different origins, diferent pure, and different grain size..
This is 3 big differences Origin: even all the salt in the word is from the sea... In Uyuni ( Bolivia) ther are salt at 3000 meters of higth.
Others is from the hole, in the middle of the ocean as the petrol, frome the saline dome... or from the mine... or simply from the ocean... and from the ocean, exist traditional, and Industrial... ( very differents)
PURE: Salt is salt everybody say it But 99% of pure, means Nacl very strong: good for the sodium chloride industry...
And exist 76% sodium chloride pure... this contains "oligoelements" this is good for bio food or organic food...
GRAINS:
Do you want to be in the salt bussines, as suppier of Industry ?? Salt for softeners... or salt for deiceing?? or salt for cattles, or salt for humans... bio or normal ??

Im Olaf-Gerd Gemein, and working as a foodscout and wholesaler in the
german market. I start this year with the salt business and want supply
my custumers with high quality and reasonable prices.
So far, so good. For me it is very surprising, that the bulk prices ex
factory vary so much, and the payed custumer prices are very diffrent
for the same quality. I think, the package and the story is more than
80 percent of the price, so it is a market for storytellers and
packagedesign people ?
