Compaq leads the field in regards to releasing
untested, inferior & defective equipment to the
public....We, the consumer, are the gineau pigs -- and we have
to pay for all of Compaq's testing......I have a
Compaq Preario 1200, purchased on March 1, 2000......On
March 4, 2000, the keypad would no longer
function......As of this date, my computer is back @ the repair
shop awaiting delivery of it's SEVENTH (7th)
keypad....Compaq realizes the originally installed keypads are all
defective & have redesigned them....Yet, despite being
under full warranty, I have had to pay for each & every
one of those keypads.....Compaq considers all
consumers as "EU's" - which stands for "End Users"......and
Compaq will not stand behind any of their
products.....

For those who are interested or unaware of this site,
take a look.......Very shocking company policies used
by Compaq.....

www.compaqsucks.com
