Hi,
I want to learn more, more, more about this computer stuff. I've
downloaded tons of stuff and I've crashed and burned more than one
computer. I love surfing the web for info, just never got into
computer info. But now, I spent tons of cash on this Sony system I
have and I crashed it to where I had to reload all my programs so I
think it's time to learn more.
I have a Sony Vaio that has a 3.06 ghz processor, 1 ghz "c" drive
and I think a "10" ghz "d" drive. I would like to get a little more
to my "c" drive and a friend told they are coming out with a 500 ghz
drive, which right now, I'm sure is more than I'll ever need, but
they said that about 1 ghz and I zapped right through that and I
don't even play games.
So I want to learn, and I would like to know from the pros, do I
need to upgrade the processor? Do I need to just dump the "1 ghz" c
drive and install some outrageously high amount of ghz to be on the
safe side?
Help! I admit I'm clueless where the actual nuts and bolts of my
computer are, have been, are going to. I've always operated under
the premise that I just use this thing, it's supposed to just do
what i want it to do. Much to my dismay, it's like a teenager and
does its own thing, doesn't pay any attention to what I want it to
do, you get my drift I'm sure.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
