This could be numerous things. What type of CD, is it one that was
burnt on another system, with another operating system?

Is it a program CD like MS Word from a manufacturer? Have you tried
numerous types of CD's? Is it DVD. Is the CD a DVD and bruner combo?

If it is a new system, RUN do not WALK to the place of purchase and
box it up and send it in!! Also verify no spyware or viruses!!! I
have VERY new info to help with viruses and spyware coming tomorrow.
