So, apparently there is a new threat out there. You know the site where
they say you have to enter the values you see in the box to proceed,
and the stuff in the box are like squiggly distorted letters and
numbers. That security feature is called CAPTCHA. Apparently there is a
new malware out there that, once infected, pops up a seductive looking
image of a girl that opens a "game" that lets you enter the characters
shown in a CAPTCHA for several given images and each time you enter
one, the girl will strip for you. Kind of a spyware strip tease. If
this image pops up when you get ready to enter a secure site, don't
fall for it. Immediately run a spyware scan. You can download ad-aware
from www.lavasoft.com and also run a scan with AVG free. Do not enter
any information on these sites. They can potentially gain access to
different accounts and passwords.
