It isn't called 'A O Hell' for nothing - and on dial-up it's the
absolute pits as you cannot block all the advertising that it throws
at you which as you say really slows everything down !!
Slightly better on broadband as you don't have to use the AOL software
to access it, just open IE and browser to the AOL home page. It still
throws the adverts at you but doesn't slow you down as much.
