The easiest way is to look in your Palm install folder (usually c:\program files\Palm for Windows users) for a folder that's a combination of your last name and first initial (for example, mine is gluthb for Brant Gluth) .
In that folder, either:
-delete or move the problem program (if you know the name) from the "backup" folder, then resync your data in.
-rename the "Backup" folder to something else (old_backup), then sync after your hard reset. That will give you the base sync. Then you can install the programs in there one by one (or in groups) with the Palm install manager.

If that doesn't make sense, I can go into more detail. I only get the daily digest, however, so this is probably late.

Subject: Help!!!

I need to know how to delete something from the Hotsync area so it
doesn't put it on my palm. I downloaded something and now everytime i
go to HotSync it gives me a Fatal Exception message and then I have to
do a hard reset, and then I have nothing on there. I just want to
delete one application that is being put on there. Anyone know how to
do this? I want to keep everything else on there but take off the one
application so during hotsyncs it's not syced onto my palm.
