MindIQ Corporation is searching for an entry-level software developer
to work on our Design-a-Course product. The candidate will work as
part of a small development team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to
make improvements to a learning management software suite, spanning
GUI client-side and web-based environments. This is a full-time
position, and carries an estimated starting salary of $35K to $45K,
depending on qualifications. All MindIQ employees also receive a
comprehensive benefit package including full health care with dental
for the employee (may be extended to family members with a montly
premium). The location is in Old Colorado City near Manitou Springs.
Knowledge of the Java programming language is essential for this
position. Familiarity with any of the following is also useful (in no
particular order): the Java Servlet API, JSP, Swing, JavaScript, SQL
and JDBC, OO analysis and design, Hibernate, XP methodology, the HTML
and CSS specifications, CVS, Wise Installation System for Windows,
UNIX shell scripting, RPM, and/or the SCORM or AICC specifications.
We are not requiring a degree or any particular certification for the
position. However, candidates having Sun SCJP certification or
degrees in computer science, math, or related fields may be preferred.
