Development Test Engineer -Colorado Springs (Job Code KCDR5) Will relocate
for this position
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this individual will define
testing requirements and necessary equipment for software & hardware test,
as well as implement designs.
Responsibilities
· Primarily responsible for designing test fixtures and suites for
products and incremental development cycle.
· Design test fixtures, develop test procedures and perform varied and
complex assignments of the test engineering functions.
· Designs and develops software test.
· Designs and develops hardware test using developed software tools
and input from hardware engineer as needed.
· Evaluates test equipment required to perform quality checks.
· Prepares recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures
to be used from product design phase through prototype development and
production.
· Develop and implement system to track engineering bug/problems.

Skill Set
· Requires Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or related field) and
5+ years of related experience. Substantial experience can be considered in
place of degree.

Operations Test Engineer - Colorado Springs (KCDR6)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
* BS in CS or EE, 5+ years experience in a development test environment
* Experience developing system test plans and detailed test cases and
execute these, for testing code, and to document the results in an automated
or manual test environment, as applicable
* Experience planning, scheduling and executing software test plans.
* Scripting and coding experience (bash & C especially)
* Knowledge of Linux Operating System
* Knowledge of networking (protocol TCIP/IP esp.)
* Knowledge in software testing; research, design, methodologies/processes,
implementation and documentation.
* Knowledgeable of testing tools and/or evaluation of testing tools.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment. Direct work with engineers in

tracking (tying back to) system components

current status of test preparation/execution/results, their time to
completion and any potential difficulties
* Follow all schedules and tasks through to completion. This includes

of the development and test organizations, and project and consulting
members as necessary
* Contribute to product specification and design reviews in order to ensure
that business requirements are being met and to ensure that software
developments are designed to be effectively testable
