Is there Life on Other Planets?

Summary

Is there life on other planets? If there is, do they have a "soul"
and will they go to our Heaven and Hell? If there isn't life out
there, why did God create such a humungous universe?

Are we alone in the universe or is there other life out there? Is our
planet the only one with life or is the universe riddled with planets
populated with life? If you are like most people, you have asked
yourself these questions one time or another.

Public opinion has swung to extremes on this issue. In 1600, the
Italian philosopher, Giordano Bruno was burned at the stakes because
he maintained the "heretical" notion that there were countless other
worlds out there containing life. In the 18th century, the pendulum
shifted to the other extreme; many astronomers were convinced that
every star had planets with life. Will Herschel (the man who
discovered Uranus), even speculated that the sun was populated with
life.

In order for life to exist on other planets, there obviously has to
be "other planets." This is where we run into our first problem in
our quest for extraterrestrial life. Scientists haven't seen any
other planets outside of our solar system. Of course, this doesn't
mean other planets don't exist. Even if the universe was riddled with
trillions of planets, we would never be able to see them with our
current telescopes (they would be too small to be seen at these
distances). The only reason we can even see stars is because they are
gigantic floodlights blasting a tremendous amount of light in our
direction. Planets, on the other hand, don't produce their own light;
they only reflect the light of their sun.

The moons of Uranus provide us a great example of the difficulties of
seeing "non-burning" objects in outer space. We originally thought
that Uranus had only five moons. However, when Voyager flew by
Uranus in 1986, it discovered ten more moons. If our telescopes
couldn't even see these nearby moons, there is no way that we would
be able to see planets that are over 14.5 million times the distance.
(Uranus is 1.7 million miles away and the nearest star is 24.7
trillion miles away).

To compensate for this shortcoming, scientists are trying to find
planets by measuring the movement of stars. They theorize that
planets will exert a gravitational pull on their sun and slightly
alter its movements. Although this approach is controversial and its
findings are considered inconclusive by many scientists, 60 planets
(as of 2001) have been "discovered."

In my chapter, Our God is an Awesome God, I talked about the immense
size of our universe. Our sun is part of a galaxy (the Milky Way)
that consists of over 200 billion suns (stars). Although our galaxy
is huge, it is just a minuscule dot in comparison to the rest of the
universe. Our universe has over 100 billion galaxies.

Why did God create these other galaxies? Was it to provide us light
to "govern the night" (Genesis 1:6 and Psalm 136:9)? No, the stars in
these galaxies are too far away to provide visible light to our naked
(unaided) eye1. It is only the stars in our own galaxy that provide
us our nighttime view and even then we are only able to see a small
portion of them (about three thousand stars). In fact, we didn't even
know about the other galaxies until powerful telescopes were
developed this past century.

If these other galaxies are not for our benefit, why did God create
them? Why did God create such a large universe? Is there some special
purpose for such a large universe or did the blueprint for a
quality "Grade A" universe come in only one size?

Before we discovered that the universe was so huge, it was easy for
us to think that we were probably alone in the universe. It was easy
to think that the few thousand small dots in the sky were only there
to provide us light at night. However, when we now see that over
99.999999…% of the universe was not created for "our benefit," we
have to wonder why God made it so large. With a universe this size,
it becomes easier to believe that maybe God has other special
creations out there. Maybe God has hundreds or even trillions of
planets inhabited with life.

If there are other life forms out there, what are they like? What are
their levels of intelligence and complexity? Do they have a "soul?"
Does God take a personal interest in them like He does with us? If
they have sinned, has God provided a special redemption for them like
He has for us? Will their "redeemed" spend eternity in the same
Heaven with us? Will their "lost" go to our Hell? Will their redeemed
have the special privilege of being the "Bride of Christ" along with
us?

Obviously, the answers to these questions are beyond our reach.
Technology is too limited to verify the existence (or non-existence)
of life and the Bible doesn't even address this subject. Therefore,
as I present my view on this subject, keep in mind it is only my
opinion and is not Biblical dogma.

Do I believe there is extraterrestrial life on other planets? No. You
may be surprised with this answer considering what I have already
said. I believe that our tiny insignificant planet is the only planet
in this humongous universe that has life. As incredulous and arrogant
as this may sound, I believe that God built this humongous universe
just for the human creation package.

There are a couple minor reasons why I believe this, but the main
reason is the limited time frame God has placed on the universe. It
appears that the universe has only been in existence for about 6,000
years and will probably be destroyed in one or two thousand years.
This means that the universe will probably not reach the age of 8,000
years. (See footnote #2 below for an explanation on how these figures
were derived.)

If the universe has a maximum life of less than 8,000 years, then all
of the worlds that it contains will also have a maximum life of less
than 8,000 years. As the footnote below shows, God will bring our
society to its final culmination just before He ends the universe.
Likewise, if there are other worlds out there, God will have to bring
their societies to a final culmination before He ends the universe.
If you are only talking about a couple planets with life, I can see
(statistically) how this might be probable.

Remember, a main argument some Christians have used to support the
existence of extraterrestrial life is the "apparent" lack of need for
these other galaxies. It is reasoned that if these galaxies have zero
impact on us (or on each other) they must have been created to
support other creation projects. Therefore, if supporting
extraterrestrial life were the only reason for their existence, we
would then have to assume that all of these galaxies have planets
with life. If all of these galaxies don't have life, we are back to
our original question of, "Why did God create all of these unneeded
galaxies?"

Assuming that there is only one planet with life per galaxy, there
would be over 100 billion planets with life. If, however, every star
in each galaxy has a planet with life, you will have to multiply the
above number by at least another 100 billion. It seems very
improbable (statistically) that all of these other societies will
have their final culmination at the exact same time as us. Our God
could do that, of course, but it seems highly unlikely.

If the purpose of this large universe was not to accommodate other
life forms, why then did God create it so large? I see four main
reasons why God made this universe as large as He did. First, it
seems that almost everything God does is a first-class major
production. I think God likes creating spectacular and awesome things
and He enjoys looking at the finished product.

Second, I think God wanted to give our world a surrounding that has
no visible end, a surrounding that seems complete. God could have
created our world the same way Hollywood creates a city street for a
movie: Fake fronts on all of the buildings. When you walk down a
Hollywood street, you see a city that looks complete. However, when
you take a closer look and peek behind the doors and windows, you
find that the buildings are not real. I think God wanted to create a
surrounding for us that could withstand as much scrutiny as we could
give.

Obviously, up until the past couple hundred years, the depth of our
scrutiny had not been very deep. However, all of this has changed. We
now have technology that allows us to "peek behind the doors and
windows" of our surroundings. For example, we used to think that
atoms were the smallest building block elements. (Of course, this was
after we discovered that "fire, water, wind, and dirt" were not the
basic building block elements.)

As technology increased, we discovered that atoms were made up of
neutrons, protons, and electrons. Later, we discovered that these
small particles were made up of smaller particles called quarks. I
personally don't think we will ever find the smallest building block
particles. Likewise, I don't think we will ever find the final limits
of outer space. I believe God knew that we would eventually break out
of the shell of our immediate surroundings and He wanted something
out there that we could see and explore.

What would have happened if God made our surrounding boundaries much
smaller? I'll try to give you an example. Let's say that God created
a brand new world and populated it with a colony of 1,000 people.
These people were placed in the middle of a territory that looked
like one of our deserts. As far as they could see in all directions,
there was nothing but sand, cactus, rocky hills, etc. Since the only
water supply was in the middle of this desert, this primitive
community could not travel more than 20 miles in any direction.

A thousand years later the community is still centered around the
water supply. The faces have changed and their population has
fluctuated, but the community is still tied to their water supply.
Then, one day someone discovered that glass can be made by super-
heating the desert sand. Before long, large water jugs were made and
people began to travel and explore.

As people reached distances of 100 miles, they discovered something
unusual. They find that the "endless" desert suddenly stops. About
100 miles in all directions from the watering hole they find a
gigantic wall surrounding the desert. Since this wall was blue in
color, it blended in well with the background. Even the rocky hills
suddenly stopped with no back sides to them. Since this wall seemed
infinitely tall and indestructible, exploration stopped at this point.

This discovery, of course, would not alter their belief in God. It
would not change their life significantly. Life would carry on as
usual up to that 100 mile boundary. I do believe, however, that this
discovery would be rather confusing and disconcerting. I think they
would wonder why God chose to put the boundaries where He did. They
would wonder why God put the "end of the world" so easily within
their grasp. Somehow their world would probably seem incomplete.

The third reason that I think God created our universe so large was
for the sake of those in eternity (both the angels and believers in
Heaven). God is obviously mightier, more complex, and more
magnificent than the universe He created. This immense universe
provides others a tangible glimpse of His greatness and power. It
displays His wisdom, majesty, and creativity. Psalm 19:1 says, "The
heavens declare the glory of God."

The fourth reason I think God created our universe so large was to
give those of us on Earth a glimpse of His power and majesty. I think
He wanted to demonstrate that He truly is Lord of lords and King of
kings. If the universe consisted of only our planet, we would think
God was great, but His true greatness would still be hidden from us.
Now, that we have a glimpse of the magnitude of the universe, we have
a better appreciation of God's true greatness. We learn more about
God as we learn more about His creation. Yet, with all we have seen,
I still don't think we even come close to understanding God's true
magnitude.

As I said before, we were unaware of the immense size of the universe
until this last century. Therefore, some people say that this
gigantic universe was not created to show us (those here on Earth)
His glory. I have two responses to this. First, God's revelation of
Himself is progressive. Mankind has learned more about God as the
centuries have unfolded. Moses knew more about God than Abraham. King
David knew more than Moses and the Apostle Paul knew more than King
David. Therefore, I don't find it surprising that we know more about
God than our predecessors.

My second response is I think God continually reveals more about
Himself to keep us humble. As we (mankind) make educational and
scientific advances, we begin to get delusions of grandeur.
Our "great" technological advances tend to make us proud, arrogant,
and overconfident. As we begin to harness incredible powers through
technology, we begin to think we can control almost anything. I think
God continually reveals more about Himself (through His creation) to
help us keep our "great" advances in proper perspective.

Although I do not believe there are other life forms in our universe,
I do believe God is currently working on other creation projects. Our
God is a creative God and I believe He always has and always will be
creating things. I don't believe, however, that they are part of our
realm or dimension. It is quite possible that God is currently
working on dozens of other creation projects in other realms.

Obviously, we have no idea how many other realms or dimensions God
has created. We shouldn't be surprised that an Almighty God (a being
who has no beginning nor end) would be restricted by our simple four
dimensions (height, width, depth, and time). The Bible briefly
mentions some of these other realms. For example, we know Heaven and
Hell are not part of our realm because they won't be destroyed when
our universe is destroyed.

Heaven and Hell are eternal in nature, whereas our universe is in a
continual state of deterioration. When you buy a new car it doesn't
take too many years for entropy (2nd Law of Thermodynamics) to turn
it into rust. Even if God doesn't destroy our universe in a couple
thousand years, it would eventually come to an end on its own. Our
universe is like a big clock that has been wound up; it will
eventually unwind itself.

Angels and demons are creatures of multiple realms. Not only can
these beings operate fully in our realm, they can also operate
invisibly behind the scenes. Our laws of physics do not bind them and
they can traverse back and forth between our realm and Heaven.

Our souls are another example of multiple realms. Although our
current bodies are made of flesh and blood ("carbon-based life
forms") our true identity is spiritual in nature. When our body dies,
our soul will leave its earthly vessel and continue living. Our souls
are not made up of the materials from this dimension. That is why a
person's body could be completely vaporized by a nuclear bomb and his
soul will depart totally unscathed.

Am I convinced that we are alone in this universe? No, of course not.
I may be completely wrong in my speculations on this subject. It
wouldn't bother me, however, if I am wrong about this. It wouldn't
shake my faith or theology if we do find life out there. As I
mentioned before, these are my opinions, not Biblical dogma.

As I contemplate the immense size of our universe, I usually do not
wonder about extraterrestrial life. Rather, I spend my time pondering
the age-old question of why would such an awesome God care so much
for mortal man? Why would God Almighty seek our friendship?

Footnote #1

The only stars we see at night are the ones in our own galaxy (Milky
Way). The stars in the other galaxies are too far away to be seen
from our planet. I would like to point out that there are three
nearby galaxies that can be seen with our naked (unaided) eye. They
are the Large Magellanic Cloud, Small Magellanic Cloud, and
Andromeda. The only reason we can see them is because they are over
100 billion times brighter than an individual star. One of these
galaxies (Andromeda) is over a trillion times brighter than a star.
Yet, because these galaxies are so far away, they only appear as
faint stars.

Although evolutionists believe the universe has been in existence for
about 15 billion years, most Christians do not. Many Christian
scholars have estimated that the universe has been in existence for
only about 6,000 years. If you believe in a literal seven-day
creation (which I do) you then believe the universe was created
around the same time Adam was created. Look at the chapter 7-Day
Creation: Literal or Figurative? for more information on this subject.

Using the genealogical records provided in the Old Testament, many
scholars say Adam was created about 6,000 years ago (4,000 BC). There
are, however, some disagreements on a couple of the genealogical
dates. An example of a book providing a detailed timeline from Adam
to Jesus is The Wall Chart of World History (Publisher: Barnes and
Noble).

Although the universe has the potential of existing for several dozen
billion years, God will cut its life short. God has a special plan
for mankind and the Bible says that when He is finished, He will
destroy the universe (Revelation 21:1).

The Bible provides a description of several events that will take
place in the "End Times." First, the Christians will be taken out of
the world ("Rapture"). Second, seven years of trouble ("Tribulation")
will immediately follow the Rapture. Third, after the Tribulation
there will be a period lasting a thousand years where Christ will
rule directly here on Earth ("Millennium"). At the end of the
Millennium, there will be a "short season" when Satan will have one
final reign. At the end of these events, the universe will be
destroyed.

Once the Rapture takes place, the countdown clock is set in motion.
After the clock has been started, there will only be 1007 years (plus
a "short season") left for the universe. The question, of course, is
when will the Rapture take place? No one knows when Jesus will come
as a "thief in the night" and rapture His church (1 Th. 5:2), but it

Answer:

It is impossible to prove a universal negative, but there is not as
yet even the slightest evidence, either Biblical or scientific, that
there are men like us inhabiting other planets or star systems. There
is an abundance of pseudo-scientific speculation of this sort, but
the hard evidence is against it.

Life, at least such as we know it, requires a very complex
combination of environmental factors to be possible, and only this
planet, so far as is known, provides this combination. Water must be
abundant, for example. Little if any water exists on the moon, or
Mars, or Venus, or the other planets, and certainly not in liquid
form. The temperatures on all the other known planets are either too
cold or too hot for life in any higher form comparable to the earth's
human life.

In addition, many complex chemicals must be present in abundance in
order to support life processes. An atmosphere essentially like our
own would also have to be present. In general, life in any form
comparable to human life would require a planet essentially the same
as our own planet in every respect. There is no evidence, however,
other than speculation, that such a planet exists anywhere else in
the universe.

The main reason that men keep wishfully searching for evidence of
extraterrestrial life is that this would give support to their
evolutionary philosophy. That is, if life is just a product of
natural chemical developments here on the earth, as the leaders of
evolutionary thought insist, then the same chance developments should
also have taken place in other places in the universe, they feel, in
view of the almost infinite number of other stars. Nevertheless, the
actual evidence remains massively negative.

As far as the Scriptures are concerned, they teach unequivocally that
the earth is uniquely the abode of man. "The heaven, even the
heavens, are the Lord's, but the earth hath He given to the children
of men" (Psalm 115:16). "God hath made of one blood all nations of
men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the
times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation" (Acts
17:20).

It was to this earth, alone among all the uncounted billions of
heavenly bodies, that God Himself, in the person of Jesus Christ,
came down to suffer and die for man's salvation. "And no man hath
ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the
Son of man, which is in heaven" (John 3:13). The earth may not be the
center of the universe (though no one knows, of course, where such a
center might be), but it is certainly the center of interest of the
universe! "In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because
that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might
live through Him" (1 John 4:9). It seems grotesque and blasphemous to
suggest that the tragedy of Calvary's cross should be repeated on
millions of other planets, for the benefit of other unknown and
hypothetical members of God's creation.

The earth, as the astronauts observed, is uniquely beautiful and
uniquely equipped as man's home. Though it is small, it is of
infinitely more complex organization and variety than even the
largest stars, composed as they are mostly of the simplest elements,
hydrogen and helium.

Since the sun and moon were made specifically to "give light upon the
earth" (Genesis 1:15), it may be possible that the moon, and even the
solar system, were within the "dominion" which man was commissioned
by God ultimately to "subdue," by his science and technology (Genesis
1:28). This is uncertain, but it is at least clear that the other
stars, the nearest of which is four light-years away, are well beyond
man's power ever to explore directly, or to control, in the present
order of things.

Why, then, did God create them? What is the purpose, in God's wisdom,
for the tremendous number and variety of stars, and perhaps a still
greater number of planets (though the existence of these is
speculative, based only on analogy with the solar system) throughout
the vast universe?

We can only give tentative suggestions, of course, but it is well to
remember that God is still the Creator, and there are endless ages of
eternity ahead of us. Even though, for the moment, the only obvious
function of the stellar heavens is to reflect the infinite power and
grandeur of their Creator, it may well be that they are awaiting more
specific uses by Him in the ages to come, after the completion of His
redemptive program for the earth and men.

It is also possible that, even now, they have some relationship to
the angels of God. This may be implied by the fact that angels are
often called "stars" in Scriptures (e.g., Job 38:7; Isaiah 14:12, 13;
Revelation 12:4, 9; 9:1; etc.) and that the phrase "host of heaven"
is applied both to the stars and to the angelic hosts (e.g., Jeremiah
33:22; 2 Chronicles 18:18). The worship of the stars, which has
always been a characteristic of polytheism, has, in reality, been a
worship of angels (or "gods"), especially those angels who have
followed Satan in his great rebellion against the true God (note 2
Kings 17:16; Colossians 2:18; 1 Corinthians 10:20, etc.). It seems
possible, at least, that this frequent identification of stars and
angels is more than mere poetic imagery; possibly angels, who are
mighty spiritual beings created by the "Lord of hosts," have their
primary sphere of operations in the heavens, in the stars. The Bible
says, "(He) maketh His angels spirits and His ministers a flaming
fire" (Psalm 104:4; Hebrews 1:7), and it also says there is "an
innumerable company of angels" (Hebrews 12:22) that "do His
commandments" (Psalm 103:20).

Thus, although it is all but certain that no other man-like
creatures6-9 inhabit other worlds, it is true that in God's universe,
and possibly on the stars themselves, there exists a vast host of
intelligent and powerful beings, the angels of God. Though it is
futile to try to establish contact with them by such devices as space-
ships and radio telescopes, we can communicate with God Himself
through prayer and through His Word, by faith, and the angels then
are "sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation"
(Hebrews 1:14).

....What Are UFO's

The Unidentified Flying Object has been with us on a regular basis
since the 1940's Many have speculated as to what they are and where
they come from. The world is braced to find out the truth about these
craft. Read below and see what I (and surprisingly many people)
believe are the origins of these craft.


Reference to visitation by craft of unconventional origin have been
mentioned as far back as the 1800's, and some believe back even much
further. As far as I am concerned none of those mentioned before that
time are credible because there is no proof; no photography, no video
and just hearsay. But since the 1940's there have been many sightings
by credible witnesses and they can't be ignored. They have to be
something, but what are they? There are those who think that they
have the right answer to that question and some of these include:


Some Explanations For UFO's:

They are top secret aircraft being tested by our military.
This might be true especially for some of the objects sighted around
top-secret military bases, but not all around the world. Anyway, no
human pilot could withstand the g-forces that accompany objects when
they make sharp right angle turns at thousands of miles an hour.


They are secret weapons being tested by the Russians

This is not a possibility for several reasons. Russia and especially
its military are not capable of producing such a weapon. Second, they
would be shot down if in American air space. Third, not even Russians
could live through the g-forces that would accompany such speeds and
maneuvers. Lets face facts. Being human, it is hard to keep secrets.
Does anyone actually believe that the Russians or Americans could
keep a lid on having such a potential weapon without having used it
in more than 50 years.


Man made craft from a future time in our own history.

This could be a possibility if it were not for one thing. The
entities on these craft really don't look human, at least the grays
don't, and they are the majority of beings sited. One might argue
that they have changed due to evolution, but evolution is a dead
theory and there is nothing to substantiate it. And even our
descendents would be bound by the laws of nature and time.


Craft from other dimensions.

This is possible and will be examined in the last category.


Craft from a lost civilization here on Earth, such as Atlantis.

Atlantians would not be able to avoid contact with all of the spy
satellites and monitoring devices that the military's of the world
have. They too would be bound by physics.


Space craft from other planets or galaxies.

This is a possibility but not probability. No UFO has ever been
monitored entering the atmosphere from outer space. There is no
evidence that other civilizations exist either. Any radio astronomer
can tell you that he/she has never gotten any intelligent signal from
the cosmos.


Craft operated by demonic entities - a supernatural force.

This is the most logical answer. For a further explanation read below.

How do we know that they don't come from other worlds?

The Speed of Light:

The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. Our nearest neighbor
star is 4.3 light years away. That means that, if the ship could
travel at that tremendous speed it would take 4.3 years to get to
Earth. Since the speed of light cannot be attained (theory says so)
then we have to assume that it would take hundreds, if not thousands
of years to reach the Earth from even the nearest neighbors. Rest
assured that the only ones who have conquered the speed of light are
the folks in Hollywood.

What About Radar:

No UFO has never been tracked on radar entering the Earth's
atmosphere.

The Probabilities of Physical Similarities And The Number of
Civilizations:

If there were, lets say, just 500 civilizations in our neighborhood
of the galaxy. From that lets say that half of them (250) have some
sort of civilization. Now, lets say that half of them (125) have
reached the point where they could travel into space. Then, lets say
that nearly half of them (62) have the ability of interstellar
travel. We'll assume that they have conquered the speed of light
problem. Okay, so how would they all evolve with the same basic
characteristics as Human beings. All of the alien drawings that I
have seen show beings with two arms, two legs, one neck, one head,
two eyes and such. They all have a humanoid appearance. Would it not
be safe to assume that separate civilizations in different star
systems would have developed differently. Why for instance, don't
some of the entities have 4 arms, or two heads and such. And why is
it that no two UFO's look the same. How many civilizations are we
dealing with anyway?

The Improbability of Multiple Evolution:

When we think about evolution as the progenitor for life in the
universe, as we are consistently force-fed, we have to look at the
probabilities of it occurring in just one small place in the
universe; namely Earth. Some mathematicians have calculated the fete.
One mathematician says thusly:

"The likelihood of the formation of life from inanimate matter is
one to a number with 40,000 noughts after it ... It is big enough to
bury Darwin and the whole theory of evolution ... if the beginnings
of life were not random, they must therefore have been the product of
purposeful intelligence." (Sir Fred Hoyle, astronomer, cosmologist
and mathematician, Cambridge University)

So it makes sense that such an impossible possibility could only
happen by way of a miracle. And we have to remember that miracles
fall into the realm of faith, and today's scientists aren't supposed
to have faith. Now, if it is impossible for life to from from
inanimate matter, how much more impossible for it to happen several
times in the universe.

And What About Physics?

Shouldn't the laws of gravity also apply to alien vessels? Why should
these beings be able to suspend the laws of physics. That's a simple
question to answer. Physics deals with scientific laws that pertain
to the physical senses and the physical reality. Physics don't apply
to aliens because they are not physical, they are spiritual.

Alien Abduction - A Social Preparation:

Why so many of those so-called abductions? Some suggest that it is to
find out more about our physical form. Again, if a culture were so
advanced as we are led to believe the aliens are, why could they not
learn about humans by only abducting maybe 10 people total. Why does
it have to be in the thousands or perhaps millions, as some suggest?
Why are people abducted countless times instead of just a couple of
times? With their sophistication they should be able to learn
everything about a person in a mere two visits, like our IRS does.

Others suggest that they are here to study our society. I would think
that the best way to study our society would be to tune into some of
our television and radio frequencies. These aliens seem to want to
keep their visits a secret as much as possible, so why abduct people
that would become witnesses to their visits. They could just turn on
the nightly news and find out all about humanity to the point of
nausea.

Why do most abductions cause physical pain and mental anguish? If
these beings are really concerned with humanity then why do the
memories of the abductees cause such anguish? Why are they allowed to
be awake while they are drilled into, probed and physically abused?
Would kind and compassionate beings do such things without
anesthesia?

New Visitors - Old Lies:

When humans are contacted by these entities, they are always given
the same New Age rhetoric. I find it hard to believe that all of
these supposed visitors from space came here to teach New Age
garbage, especially when it is promoted so well in the newspaper, on
the radio and television and taught so effectively in schools.

Always An Appearance That Fits The Times:

It is interesting to note that the sightings in the 1800s and in the
20th century often involve craft that are just a few years ahead of
what man of that time was capable of. For instance, reports of
strange craft, shaped like cigars and other things were reported in
the late 19th and early 20th century. The craft were described as
looking like long balloons with gondola's on the bottom, with
portholes and people could be seen and even waved back at the amazed
Earthlings. Not long after that time the blimp was invented. Why
would beings who traveled billions of miles appear to men as men in a
long balloon. Well, it is simply because if they would have appeared
as aliens, people would have recognized them for what they are,
demons, and would have fought back spiritually. They would have found
resistance.

In the 20th century, when men were making rockets, exploring space
and wondering if there was life on other worlds, then they started
appearing like creatures from other worlds to satisfy the aspirations
of men who were asking questions that feed the appetite of deceiving
demonic angels. This is really nothing new. For countless centuries
man has wanted to know about life after death, hence, the séance. So,
the dearly departed are impostered by lying demons and the
unsuspecting persons really thinks that their loved one is talking to
them. Then, there is the every popular Ouiga Board. Ask it a question
and it will spell out the supposed truth. Come on, if these entities
are cunning enough to try to form a coup in Heaven against Almighty
God they are surely capable of pushing a stupid little game piece
around. Isn't it interesting how people can be schooled until they
know the value of Pi to the millionth power, but they can be duped
into believing a lie (and a stupid one at that) from a lying spirit.
Pretty sad, huh?

Demons are the disembodied spirits of creatures called Nephilim that
lived before the worldwide flood of Noah's time. They are
the "Giants" or "Sons of God" talked about in Genesis chapter six.
Demons can only embody hosts who invite them in either through direct
or indirect invitations. Fallen angels are the fathers of the
Nephilim. They had relations with human women before the flood and
afterward. Some like myself believe that the abductions that happen
to UFO abductees are really the same actions by the some fallen
angels who had intercourse with human females before the flood.
Angels have on occasion been able to transform themselves into
physical human form. The Bible says "Satan himself can transform
himself into an angel of light". It is true that anything made in the
physical realm could not defy the laws of gravity. Some UFO's have
been recorded as having disappeared into thin air. What is impossible
in the physical realm is very possible in the spiritual realm.

Lets face it, the entities that inhabit UFO's act just like the
fallen angels or demons. They are cold, unfeeling and are trying to
prove God wrong. What more evidence does one need.

Abductees - A Common Thread:

Most abductees and contactees were involved in the occult practices
before their contact with alien (demonic) beings. Some might ask the
question, "then why are young children abducted? They haven't
practiced in the occult." We all belong to families. In most cases,
what one family member does affects the other members of the family.
Therefore, any member of a family that has a family member that is or
has dabbled in the occult is free game for the forces of darkness.

Two people who come to mind right away are Withley Streiber and Ruth
Montgomery. Whitley Streiber authored "Communion". He is in supposed
communication with entities on UFO's. He practiced meditation, which
he attributes to his ability to communicate with these beings. Then
there is Ruth Montgomery, the famous automatic writer who has written
some things from alien spiritual beings. Sooner or later just about
anyone who dabbles in occult ways will have a brush with entities
claiming to aliens from other worlds. Another door that opens one up
to demonic activity is hypnosis. Whenever one gives up their will to
another it creates a vacuum that evil forces are only too glad to
occupy. And why are abductions only remembered through hypnotism,
which itself had its roots in mysticism.

Why I Am Convinced That Aliens And UFO's Are Demonic?

Most of the "abductees" and "contactees" had their hand in the occult
before their experiences with so called extraterrestrials. People who
claim to be in contact with aliens use the same bunch of occultic
tricks, such as clairvoyance, automatic writing, E.S.P., remote
viewing, trance states, Ouija boards, channeling, and meditation.
Some of them even try to take spiritual references in the Bible and
explain them away as ancient UFO encounters. It is interesting that
most of these things have been used for thousands of years to fool
people into believing a lie.

There are just too many correlations between the activities of aliens
and the activities of the demons of old. If it looks demonic and if
it acts demonic, then it is demonic.

What Fruit Do They Bear?

If aliens are indeed demonic, then they should bear fruits of demonic
activity. Just look at a list of what happens to abductees after they
have had contact with these so called aliens:

Aliens can alter our perceptions of our surroundings.

Aliens can control what we think we see. They can appear to us any
number of guises and shapes.

Aliens can be present with us in an invisible state and can make
themselves only partially visible.

Abductees receive marks on their bodies other than the well-known
scoops and straight-line scars. These other marks include single
punctures, multiple punctures, large bruises, three-and four fingered
claw marks, and trangles of every possible sort.

Female abductees often suffer serious gynecological problems after
their alien encounters, and sometimes these problems lead to cysts,
tumors, cancer of the breast and uterus, and to hysterectomies.

A surprising number of abductees suffer from serious illnesses they
didn't have before their encounters. These have led to surgery,
debilitation, and even death from causes the doctors can't identify.

Abductees often encounter more than one sort of alien during an
experience, not just the greys. Every possible combination of grey,
reptoid, insectoid, blond, and widow's peak have been seen during
single abductions, aboard the same craft or in the same facility.

Abductees report being scoffed at, jeered at, and threatened by their
alien captors. Painful genital and anal probes are performed...
Unknown fluids are injected into some abductees.

Abductees-"virgin" cases- report being taken to underground
facilities where they see grotesque hybrid creatures, nurseries of
hybrid humanoid fetuses, and vats of colored liquid filled with parts
of human bodies.

Abductees report seeing other humans in these facilities being
drained of blood, being mutilated, flayed, and dismembered, and
stacked, lifeless like cords of wood. Some abductees have been
threatened that they, too, will end up in this condition if they
don't co-operate with their alien captors.

Aliens come into homes and temporarily remove young children, leaving
their distraught parents paralyzed and helpless. In cases where a
parent has been able to protest, the aliens insist that "The children
belong to us."

Aliens have forced their human abductees to have sexual intercourse
with aliens and even with other abductees while groups of aliens
observe these performances. In such encounters, the aliens have
sometimes disguised themselves in order to gain the cooperation of
the abductee, appearing in such forms as Jesus, the Pope, certain
celebrities, and even the dead spouses of the abductees.

Aliens perform extremely painful experiments or procedures on
abductees, saying that these acts are necessary but give no
explanation why.....Painful genital and anal probes are performed, on
children as well as adults.

Aliens make predictions of an imminent period of global chaos and
destruction. They say that a certain number of humans...will
be "rescued" from the planet in order to continue the species, either
on another planet or back on earth after the destruction is over.
Many abductees report they don't believe their alien captors and
foresee instead a much more sinister use of the "rescued" humans.
None of the things mentioned above are the result of a benevolent
race. They are all forms of torture or terror. The so called
extraterrestrials are the ultimate terrorist force; just ask their
victims. And it should come as no surprise that the people on earth
who perform terror are so versed at it, seeing that their masters
(the demonic hordes) are really in control of their actions.

Does the Bible Mention UFO's?


Yes, but not in the way most people think. Some people will point to
Ezekiel's vision (Ezekiel 1:4- 28) as an example of an Old Testament
UFO sighting. But the Being in the vision identified Himself as "the
Lord God" (Ezekiel 2: 4). But there are entities described in
Scripture who:

Come from the sky:

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the
rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
(Ephesians 6:12)
Will perform powerful signs and fake miracles:

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of
Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and
wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are
perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so
be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that
they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have
not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (2
Thessalonians 2:9-12)

Will appear to be something they are not, by means of disguises:

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It
is not surprising then, if his servants masquerade as servants of
righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. (II
Corinthians 11:14)

Are going to try to deceive mankind in the latter days:

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the
faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. (I
Timothy 4:1)

Will try and convince people that Christianity is untrue:

see above (I Timothy 4:1)

Will fool a lot of people:

Jesus answered: "watch out that no one deceives you. For many will
come in my name claiming, 'I am the Christ' and will deceive
many."...

"At that time if anyone says to you 'look, here is the Christ'
or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christ's and false
prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive
even the elect, if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of
time. So, if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do
not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.
For as the lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the
west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever there is a
carcass, there will the vultures gather." (Matthew 24:4 and 23-25)

These are descriptions of Satan and his demons, and they are also
accurate descriptions of today's UFO entities. In these latter days,
demons are manifesting themselves as occupants of UFO's for the
purpose of deceiving mankind into believing in a false religion.
The "abductions" never really happened in the physical sense. They
are false memories inserted in the minds of people who have opened
themselves up to this kind of thing by occult practices. There are
many doors that people can open to expose themselves to the spiritual
realm. Some doors are obvious but many are so vague that they cannot
be seen except by the trained eye. The "contactees" who claim to be
receiving information from aliens by psychic means are spirit
mediums, no different than the Witch of Endor mentioned in the 28th
chapter of I

.......The Purpose Behind Sexual Experiments:


Many of those who have abducted by these beings have had procedures
of a sexual nature performed on them. According to the abductees,
sperm is taken from the men, eggs from the women and some women claim
to have been impregnated by the creatures. One cannot fully
understand the ramifications or reasoning's behind these acts without
doing a little study of a time in the past when these practices were
common.

In the sixth chapter of Genesis, we find a short blurb on an event
that occurred that often gets overlooked, probably because it is
confusing. The passage says:

When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were
born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were
beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the LORD
said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal;
his days will be a hundred and twenty years." The Nephilim were on
the earth in those days and also afterward--when the sons of God went
to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the
heroes of old, men of renown. Genesis 6:1-4

Now, the scripture sounds sort of innocuous until you do a word study
and find out what the words mean in Hebrew. First, the words, "sons
of God," would probably make the reader think of the men on Earth who
followed His ways and didn't stray from the truth. In actuality, that
phrase, which in the Hebrew is pronounced B'nai Elohim, is always
used to denote angels.

Now, the passage goes on to say that these B'nai Elohim took any of
the daughters of men that they chose. Again, the English translation
does the scripture an injustice. In the Hebrew, the connotation is
that they were forcefully taken from their families and had sex
forcefully thrust upon them. In modern terms, they were abducted and
raped.

The offspring of these unions were called Nephilim. Our English
Bibles were translated from the Greek, and the Greek word that is
used is translated "giants," in the English. That word, in the Greek,
means "Earth dwellers," which is strange because all men were earth
dwellers. So why the special distinction? It is because they were
half human and half angel, offspring of angels, who because they were
half human, were bound to the Earth. The Hebrew word, "Nephilim,"
which comes from the root word, "nephal," means, "the fallen ones."
Hence, they were children of fallen angels and women, who had some
supernatural powers but who were bound to Earth. It all comes
together when you look at the root words.

At the end of the passage, we read that these creatures were heroes
and men of renown. Now, that sounds like they were pretty nice
people. But, if you do a word study, the Hebrew shows a different
picture. The word "hero," is really the word tyrant in Hebrew. The
word renown takes on a whole different flavor, meaning men in
authority and men who were infamous. Looking at a Webster's
dictionary, we come to find that the word infamous
means, "notoriously vile and detestable." So, to put it all
together, they ware tyrannical men in authority who were notoriously
vile and detestable. Not the sort of guys you want dating your
daughter.

Now, we are sort of at a disadvantage because the Bible sort of just
leave the subject after only a couple of verses. There are other
ancient Hebrew writings that go onto more detail about the subject.
One, the Book of Enoch, goes into much more depth about this. You can
read this account by clicking here. There's just too much content to
include in this text.

The Nephilim were a bad breed. According to Enoch, they exhausted all
of the resources of mankind and corrupted nearly the whole gene pool.
Enoch even suggests that when they were at their worse, they even
cannibalized men. God had enough of this and caused the Nephilim to
fight against each other until they all slew each other. The fallen
angels were forced to watch this and then they were denied access to
heaven and furthermore, they were chained in a dark abode where they
could not taint mankind anymore.

Enoch quotes God where the souls of the Nephilim are concerned:

8 And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh,
shall be called evil spirits upon
9 the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling. Evil spirits
have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men and
from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin;
10 they shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they
be called. [As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their
dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon
the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.]
11 And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack,
do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they
take no food, but nevertheless
12 hunger and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall
rise up against the children of men and against the women, because
they have proceeded from them. Enoch 15: 8-12

For those who have always wondered about where demons come from, you
now have the answer. This also accounts for ghosts, poltergeists,
goblins, ogres, fairies, and the voices behind channelers, fortune
tellers and other types of mediums.

Now, it is the goal of every demon to possess a human being. They'll
possess any animal, but they prize possessing humans. By possessing a
human, they know that they have a chance to ruin the plans that God
has for His creation and the beings that He loves, humankind. When
they possess a human, they have the ability to deceive mankind with
doctrines of demons and all sorts of lies.

So, why all the sexual experiments and such that are performed on
abductees? Well, the world is sort of sophisticated these days, and
the Holy Spirit roams the Earth too. He holds back a lot of trouble
that would ensue if He weren't here. Also, mankind has been endowed
over the years with a knowledge that the unknown is usually
dangerous, especially where demonic activity is concerned. The fallen
angels who corrupted the seed of mankind before the flood are locked
up tight and can't mingle with women anymore either. Point is, the
demons need a place to live, and if they can't get that place with
much ease, they will create a place.

I am convinced, that all of the sexual things that are done to
abductees are done so with the express idea of creating spiritless
beings that the demons will be able to inhabit. These mock humans
will look like us and for the most part act like us, but they will be
the vehicle that will be used to deceive mankind. You see, Satan no
longer has to worry about corrupting the physical seed of God,
because he failed at that when Jesus was born; so he is set on
corrupting any spiritual advance for the Kingdom of God. When God
calls the Church out of this world, taking the Holy Spirit with it,
then the powers of darkness will be free to reign. The demonic
possessed beings will then be free to deceive the rest of mankind.

I also have a notion that in the days to come, these beings will
mingle with the daughters of men once more, with the express idea of
creating a corrupt race in total rebellion toward God. Many demons
tend to have a sexual allure, but lack the body to commit acts. If
they inhabit these mock bodies, they will be able to corrupt mankind.
Jesus said something very interesting about the last days of human
rule here on Earth:

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven,
nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so
it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before
the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in
marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; Matthew 24:36-38

A question to ask is does the marrying and giving in marriage spoken
of by our Lord Jesus denote that the women in that future day (or
perhaps today) will be accosted like they were back in Noah's day, or
did He just mean that people would be getting married like usual.

nature of UFO's. You may agree with me or you might think that I am
just another one of those religious fanatics who is trying to force
religion on you, but I didn't make you turn to this page. You might
even think me a great fool. If I am a fool with weird ideas then I
will be embarrassed someday and have to live with the consequences of
what I have compiled here. If however I am right (and history will
prove that I am) you might have to start thinking about the
ramifications that the UFO debacle might have on your life, and in

Evolution portrays mankind as arising from mire and wormlike
ancestors and gradually, through evolutionary strife for supremacy,
becoming gods.

The next great goal for these earth gods is to journey to distant
stars, from colonies and, perhaps, eventually become masters of the

the subject, and careful planning for these future voyages is already

Here are 12 reasons why man, unaided by his Creator, will never
succeed in his plans for successful interstellar and trans-galactic
flights.

1 - PHYSICAL DETERIORATION
When astronauts go up on rockets, they immediately begin weakening
physically. The body loses calcium, muscles begin deteriorating, and
an entire set of physiological problems gradually, inexorably
increase. A key factor is the lack of gravity. It would be extremely
difficult to provide passengers on lengthy space flights with a
gravity environment equivalent to what they had back on earth.
Immense, tubular revolving wheels are said to be the answer. But such
contraption should only compound some other problems listed below.

The subtle degenerative effect of prolonged weightlessness on the
human body would, over a period of years, be devastation. The
constant resistance of the body to earth's gravity strengthens the
body. Without it, muscles shrink, blood vessels constrict, fluid
levels decrease, and bone wastes away. For example, in one month the
heel bone can lose 5 percent of its mass. Rigorous exercise in outer
space can, at best, only slow the deterioration somewhat.

2 - WEAR AND BREAKDOWNS
The immense periods of time required to journey to planets outside
our solar system would bring inevitable wear and tear on the
spaceship and its equipment. After only 15 years of operation, the
space shuttles are showing a variety of problems. Yet NASA has a
small army of service technicians to keep them in working order. What
assurance is there that essential components of, or within, an
interstellar spaceship would not break down in fight—far from the
technicians and repair depots that could care for it

3 - RADIATION HAZARDS
There are high-speed particles in outer space which would constantly
bombard the spaceship with deadly radiation. These are cosmic rays
from deep space, as well as X-rays and other emissions from solar
flares. The short-term effects of radiation were clearly pointed out
to the first astronauts, who reported seeing random flashes of light
while in orbit,—that were in fact caused by nuclear particles
bombarding their retinas. Earth's powerful magnetic field and dense
atmosphere protect us from most of that. But in outer space it is
different.

Plans to put a manned station on the moon include cylindrical modules
buried under at least six feet of lunar topsoil to protect people
from dangerous ultra-violet light, solar radiation, high-speed
particles, and X-rays.

4 - METEOROIDS
Mankind has already filled the orbital heights with so much space
junk, that there is already one chance in a hundred that within 10
years a space shuttle orbiting the earth will be damaged by space
junk. At the speeds with which the junk travels, it has been said
that even a paint particle could cause serious damage to a manned
rocket.

Yet in outer space there are sizeable amounts of meteoroids.
Relatively little is known about conditions in space outside our
solar system. It could be even worse there. Yet the spaceship would
have to travel at extremely high speeds in order to reach another
solar system within any useful time frame. At such speeds and with
such a lengthy trip, there could be little possibility of avoiding a
collision with hazardous objects.

5 - REPAIRS UNLIKELY
Any serious repair work should be considered out of the question. The
spaceship could not possibly carry all the machine shop tools and
spare parts needed. We are speaking here of a trip at highest speed
which requires not weeks or months, but probably centuries.

Plans for interstellar flights always assume no serious repair
problems, in critical electrical or life-support systems inside the
ship, of the immense outer part of its giant rotating wheel. But such
problems would occur; some of which would doom the ship's occupants
to speedy death.

6 - MOTION SICKNESS
The spaceship would have to have a gigantic gravity wheel for the
passengers to live in. But the Coriolis effect would cause serious
problems. A spin rate of more than one revolution per minute would
cause motion sickness. Even a wheel 600 feet in diameter would have
to rotate three times a minute to simulate normal earth gravity! The
resulting nausea would be terrible. An IMMENSE rotating wheel, called
a Standford Torus, would be required in order to lower the Coriolis
effect. Yet how could such a massive, speeding structure avoid
colliding with asteroid particles in outer space? Wernher von Braun
recognized that even slight shifts of weight within the torus would
subtly affect the rate of rotation, with disorienting effects on the
occupants. Even rotation rates as low as one revolution per minute
would still cause them low-level physical turmoil.

7 - AIR POLUTION
The air pollution in the living quarters of the wheel could become
terrific. There would have to be room for plants, animals, large
numbers of people, and all their wastes. It has been estimated that
10,000 colonists within a giant wheel would require 60,000 chickens,
30,000 rabbits, and sizeable herds of cattle, to maintain a mixed
diet of about 2,400 calories a day. The entire contraption, with all
that was going on within it, would be a closed-up little world. Even
with plants, gradually the environment could become off-balanced,
with disastrous results. Over a period of decades and even centuries,
even a large spaceship would have too small an area for environmental
mistakes to accumulate.

Biosphere II in Arizona was closed down due to inadequate aereation,
poor food, and waste disposal problems.

8 - ENERGY SOURCES
Life-sustaining electrical gadgets would be needed. These would
include such things as humidifiers to control the moisture in the
air. Yet the plan is that solar energy would help provide the
electrical power. But it would not take long for the spaceship to
pass beyond the point where our sun was only a bright star.

9 - INTERPERSONAL CONFLICTS
One of the greatest challenges faced by the colonists would not be
biological or structural—but social. No matter how large the wheel
they live in, it would seem alien and confining. Close-living
quarters could bring problems that would result in serious disputes,
mutiny, and even warfare. This was a major problem plaguing Biosphere
II.

10 - DISTANCES TOO VAST
The distances to be traversed would be vast. In addition to Voyager I
and II, two other unmanned flights (Pioneer 10, launched in 1972, and
Pioneer 11 in 1973) have already left the solar system. Traveling at
25,000 m.p.h., it will take 30,000 years for them to pass by Ross
248, the nearest star in their flight path.

Epsilon Eridani, one of the closest stars, would, at the speed of
light, take 10.8 years to reach. But no ship built on earth could
approach even a significant fraction of such an immense speed.

Astounding speeds would somehow have to be attained. Yet such speeds
would render collision with the smallest particle destructive to the
mission. It has been theorized that various exotically fueled engines
(such as metallic hydrogen, or matter/antimatter engines), could get
it there more quickly. But this is all theory, and the lengthy
acceleration and deceleration involved would be a terrible thing to
live through. One of the latest theories is called a "pulse engine."
This would involve literally setting off nuclear (fission) bombs
behind the rocket-ship, one after the other, only a few moments
apart! Each blast would cause a shock wave that would hit ("pulse")
against a metal plate behind the spaceship moving it forward! It is
estimated that a pulse rocket would reach Epsilon Eridani in 330
years, or about 10 generations of passengers. During initial loading,
the ship would, among other things, have to be loaded with hundreds
of thousands of atomic bombs.

It is recognized that present space fuels (liquid hydrogen and liquid
oxygen) would be too inefficient in terms of pounds of trust per
pound of fuel. In other words, so much fuel would be needed for the
journey that the spaceship could not carry it all.

In addition, even more fuel would be required to decelerate upon
reaching a star, or the ship would just rapidly fly by.

Solar sails have been suggested, but it is now admitted that these
would be useless beyond Jupiter's orbit.

11 - RADIO CONTACT
Radio contact with the spaceship would be impractical. Those back on
earth could give the space travelers no verbal aid in case of
trouble, much less go to their rescue. Even at the speed of light,
radio messages would take more than eight years to reach the nearest
star, Alpha Centauri. The time-lag problem in radio transmission
would be a serious one.

The same factor would also render impossible the sending of an
unmanned robot rocket to a nearby star.

12 - OBJECTIVE UNLIKELY
The possibility is extremely remote that a usable planet would be
found orbiting the destination star. That discovery would shatter the
morale of the passengers, and there would not be enough fuel to go on
to another star. Stars are separated by vast distances!

The high cost of water, oxygen, and food transport, along with other
problems, will ultimately doom man's hopes for long-term earth-
orbiting, or lunar, or Martian space stations. In fact, if attention
is not given to basic problems on earth, such as inexpensive water
desalinization, transport methods, practical substitutes for
dwindling fossil fuels and dangerous nuclear reactors, and stopping
the wholesale destruction of trees; within a hundred years mankind
will congregate near water sources, travel by horse-drawn wagons, and
worry about how to get enough food and the firewood to cook it.

Does the Bible tell us if there is life on other planets?

The Bible does not say if there is life on other planets. It
simply says that God created the heavens and earth and put man on it.
But this silence on the subject does not require that earth is the
only place with life on it. But then again, this doesn't mean there
is life out there, either.
Let me propose some reasons why I believe there is no life on
other planets. Now, I should tell you that these reasons are simply
exercises in biblical theology.
The Bible says there is one Trinitarian God. Jesus was God in
flesh (John 1:1,14; Col. 2:9; Phil. 2:5-8), second person of the
Trinity, and died for our sins (Romans 5; 1 Pet. 2:24). If, there
were other beings on other planets that have sinned, then they would
need a redeemer. God would have to die for them as well.(1)
Only God can forgive sins. Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1,14;
Col. 2:9), is forever a man (1 Tim. 2:5; Heb. 7:17, 21) and died for
the sins of people here on earth (Rom. 5:8). Therefore, I conclude
that the only members left in the Trinity to die for the sins of
another race would be the Father and the Holy Spirit. But this
doesn't seem credible since the focus of the Trinitarian effort in
this world has been for the Father to elect a people (Luke 18:7; Rom.
8:33), the Son to redeem them (John 6:39; 17:9,24; Rom. 5:8; 1 Pet.
2:24), and the Holy Spirit to fill, guide, and indwell them (Acts
4:29-31; John 16:13; Rom. 8:9-14). The focus of their effort has been
this world and the redemption of mankind, not anywhere else.
Second, if there were life on other planets, would it be
possible that they never sinned and don't need a redeemer? I think
this question can be answered by the Bible where it says that
creation is groaning, waiting for its redemption at the return of
Christ (Rom. 8:22). That would mean that all of creation was affected
by the fall. When Adam sinned, the ground was cursed and death
entered the world. If that is so, then any other beings out there
that were made in God's image, would have fallen too since they would
be part of creation.(2) I don't see how they could escape the effect
of the fall. They would be sinners too and need a redeemer. Then they
would fall under the first objection above.
Third, there are only two options available to explain our
existence. Creation and evolution. I have studied the theory of
evolution and do not believe it is a viable option to explain how we
got here. I do not accept evolution for two reasons: The Bible says
God created life on earth; that means it did not evolve. Second, the
problems of spontaneous life formation are so immense that it is
impossible. Also, missing links abound. The fossil record is spotty
at best. DNA mutation theory is insufficient to account for life form
development. And more.... But this paper is not a refutation of
evolution.

What about the appearances of UFO's?

I do not deny that there are physical manifestations of UFO's
and that many people have claimed to have seen them and even been
abducted by them. But the issue is not whether these things occur,
but what they are.
Research of UFO abductees has led to some interesting
discoveries. According to those abducted, the aliens are teaching
theology. The curious thing is that the theology is New Age theology;
namely, that we are all divine, all evolving to higher levels of
consciousness, that reality is what you perceive it to be, etc. These
are anti-Christian teachings. In some cases, comments about Jesus
himself have been made that directly contradict biblical revelation.
I've studied the New Age for quite some time, and a great many people
in the New Age not only accept Aliens and UFO's, but teach that they
are more highly evolved than we are and that we need to learn from
them.
In addition, an inordinately high percentage of the abductees
have had previous experience with the occult. I remember when I was
younger and into séances, necromancy, psycho kinesis, and astral
projection. One night I looked into the sky and saw a very bright
light that moved at an extremely high rate of speed and made sudden
and sever changes in direction during its flight. It moved extremely
fast and accelerated out of sight as it moved high into the night sky
and disappeared. I saw this with my own eyes. But it doesn't stop
there. During my occult days, I also saw many other unusual
manifestations, heard voices, and saw things move. I could go on. But
suffice it to say, that I confirm the findings that those who
experience UFO phenomena are very often involved in the occult. This
is alarming and a major warning.
My conclusion is that the UFO phenomena is occultic in origin
and demonically based. I do not believe there is life on other
planets and I suspect that what has manifested is nothing more than a
great deception that is slowing enveloping mankind.

but they do not sin. They are not made in the image of God and cannot
know and break God's revealed Law. But they die because of what Adam
