Hallo all,

I talked to a farmer yesterday who told me about two Common Cranes that landed near his house on the 1/6/09 here at Voss in Western Norway. One had the following combination of rings:

Right leg:  Black – Red – Blue

Left leg:  Yellow – Red – Metal ring.

I didn’t see the birds as I was away at the time, so I can’t confirm the colours or if the combination sequence is correct, but if anyone has a clue to what scheme the bird belonged to, it would be interesting to know.
