Re: [crusers] Re: Ruby/Rails in Calgary

I work from Calgary for Gaiam - and from day 1 the the entire Gaia Community social network (http://www.gaia.com) has been coded in Ruby on Rails.  We also have introduced Ruby elsewhere at Gaiam.
Christian - we use Tynt :)
I've also helped a friend bring some Ruby on Rails into a project (that is in production) for the the Alberta government.

At http://www.commerx.com, I've been using Rails for internal and client applications since 2007 (around 7 so far).

There are several companies developing products with RoR, and some consultancies that take on RoR projects, and lots of places using plain-old Ruby for testing and automation.

It is not the people around you who are at fault. They cannot help themselves.
The fault is with you, because you can help yourself.
