Ok it's confirmed. CrushFTP is causing the CRC errors.
I thought it might have only been occurring when the files were being
transferred via FXP but this...
... CrushFTP calculates a CRC value while the upload is going on and prints it in the log. Does it by chance match the correct CRC? Are the file sizes exactly...

... It means you weren't in the CrushFTP directory when you issued the command. cd to the right directory. Like "cd applications", "cd CrushFTP\ Server", etc....
