Dynamic Content Delivery – Get more value from your investment in DITA

While initial DITA implementations have focused primarily on static publishing to pre-defined PDF, HTML and Help format's, the real promise of DITA lies in supporting dynamic, personalized content delivery. We will describe the business benefits that can be achieved by extending a DITA-based implementation to customers, partners and other employees.

This presentation will demonstrate how DITA can be successfully used to

1. produce custom, on-demand personalized technical manuals that match a customer's configuration,
2. drive highly-personalized content applications that match the user's context and role, and
3. support advanced granular level searching of DITA content.

Michael Carey has been in the content industry for 12+ years focusing on content management, XML and Web delivery solutions. In his current role at Mark Logic, Michael is leading the company's efforts in DITA and technical information delivery.

The photo has a marker showing the Building C entrance at the north side of the campus. If you turn off of Parmer at the main entrance, you'll need to skirt around the west side of the buildings to get to the C entrance. If you head east/northeast on Anderson Mill from Parmer, you'll find the "back entrance" that feeds directly to the Building C entrance.
