Glad we had such a great turnout! That was a fun "meeting."
What I heard, apart from the waitress interruptions, was "Mashup" involved getting data from non-DITA sources. Seth Park has a good post with use cases for DITA mashups here: http://dita.xml.org/resource/ctdug-june-usecases-for-mashup.
The DITA for the Web subcommittee has a draft charter here: http://xml.coverpages.org/DITA-Web-SC-Proposal.html. Highlights include recommendations and best practices guidelines for use of DITA content on the Web as a deliverable. XHTML, web pages, and web content management are prevalent in that charter.
Think you'd want to join one of the committees? I just went through the OASIS membership process myself to get on the DITA for Web subcommittee, so I'm looking forward to ramping up.
I hope that helps!

Afternoon!
Thanks Anne for getting us all together last night. It was fun.
We talked a bit about the "DITA Mashup" and "DITA for the Web" subcommittees. I don't think I quite got what the difference was between the two. Don began to describe the differences and we kept losing track of the conversation...

Don, would you mind writing up what unique role you think each committee plays? Seth, I'm sure you've got something to say on the matter as well. I'd like one or both committees to move forward.
