Michael Priestley, a popular presenter at DITA conferences, will be standing in tonight for our featured speaker, France Baril of Ixiasoft. France won't be able to present tonight due to illness, and we wish her a speedy recovery.
Michael will regale us with one of his presentations from a past STC conference on "DITA and task-based navigation." His live demo will include a look at how he uses the IBM Task Modeler tool to model scenarios and produce DITA maps that express the necessary navigation and topics for scenarios. This presentation will have practical information that you can use to develop task-based navigation for DITA maps. And whether or not you plan to ever use the Task Modeler tool, its pretty cool to see it in action in the hands of a master like Michael.
