Well Rachel,
We started out with that in mind and came around to the idea of using
Misc Tracking to "track" that data.
We built all the items on our Checklist into our Master Templates on
the Misc Tracking form. That way each loan would have every checklist
item built into the Misc tracking page.
Then we created a Custom Form with ALL of the fields from Misc
Tracking on it. We put fields like Filename, Status dates etc. on
this "Automated Checklist" form to make it usable. That way processors
that are remote can post Sent and Received Dates on Misc Tracking and
later printed on the "Automated Checklist".
For the "piece da la resistance" is, that we created a "Status Flyer"
for the Loan Officers to print off and send (fax or email) to their
Real Estate agents. It is made up from several of the Misc Tracking
fields and General Tracking fields. We also include the Loan Officer's
photo, and the Title Co. address (from Agent tracking), plus the
Estimated closing date. We even went so far as to setup with the LO's
to use a specific field on Agent Tracking for the Closing time!
