CyberPromdi, Inc. is a community of technopreneurs, Information Technology (IT) professionals, and Internet and e-Commerce enthusiasts. It's vision is to make Cebu an Information Technology and eBusiness hub.

CyberPromdi will achieve its vision (1) by organizing activities to educate the general public on the latest trends, developments, technologies and issues relating to Information Technology, the Internet and e-Commerce; (2) by providing a venue where technopreneurs can meet, share ideas, work and collaborate with each other; and (3) by establishing a database of local IT and new media talents and professionals.

It will provide a forum where its members as well as the general public will learn the latest trends and developments in IT, Internet and e-Commerce. It will organize public events and/or expositions aimed to educate the general public on IT, internet and e-Commerce related issues. It will also work closely with the Academe to promote and encourage IT, Internet and e-Commerce education and research. Furthermore, it will assist businesses, institutions and organizations in implementing IT and e-Commerce projects by providing referrals to appropriate IT and new media professionals.

CyberPromdi started as a mailing list of IT professionals in October 1999. On February 2001, it has been incorporated as a non-stock, non-profit organization. It has continued to grow thanks to the support and interest of a broad range of groups and individuals intent on achieving its vision of making Cebu a leader in IT and e-Business.
