Hi,
Each day next week (20-24 March), http://www.cybersoc.com will be
publishing posts by a series of special guest bloggers to help mark
the one year anniversary of cybersoc.com (the blog, not the site
which is 10 this year).
The guest bloggers are all leaders in their respective areas and
should have some interesting ideas to share. Each of them will use
their blog entry to look back at the highlights of their chosen
topic area over the past year and to look forward to give us a
glimpse of what developments or changes they're excited, or worried
about, happening over the coming year.
The following guest bloggers have now confirmed their participation -
full biographies and a final running order will be posted here as
soon as possible:
* Citizen Journalism: Richard Sambrook, Director of Global News at
the BBC
* Online Community Management: Nancy White of Full Circle Associates
* Online Community Management: Craig Newmark and/or Jim Buckmaster
from Craigslist.org
* Internet Research: Professor Stephen Coleman, Institute of
Communication Studies at the University of Leeds
* Web 2.0: Scott Rafer of Mobile Community site Winksite
I hope regular and new cybersoc.com readers alike will help welcome
these guest bloggers by posting comments or exploring the links
provided in their posts.
