Hi,
I'm having the same problem (have tried both alpha4 and the new alpha5): Live TV
is not
working (but recorded ones work fine).
My setup is:
CyTV server
- Intel Mac Mini
- Mac OS X 10.5.2
- EyeTV 3.0
- Elgato EyeTV for DTT Stick (Digital DVB-T)
CyTV client 1
- Intel Macbook
- Mac OS X 10.5.2
- Safari 3.0.4
- VLC 0.8.6d with latest web browser plug-in for Intel
Changing channels and watching recordings, even in fullscreen, work fine. When
clicking
Play in the Live box, nothing happens.
CyTV client 2
- Powerbook G3 Pismo
- Mac OS X 10.4.11
- Safari 3.0.4
- VLC 0.8.6d with latest web browser plug-in for PowerPC
Web page show up ok. Changing channels works. Playing recordings show no video
but
audio is heard. Playing live TV does not work at all.
CyTV client 3
- HP Pavillion zd8000 laptop
- Windows XP Home Edition - Service Pack 2
- Firefox 2.0.0.12
- VLC 0.8.6d, (not sure if web browser plug-in is installed correctly as I can't
find the 2
files videolan installation instruction refers too)
Only shows the top left video frame on the web page. In other words, the lower
frame with
Live TV and Recordings is not displayed at all.
I'd be happy to help out as an alpha and beta tester if needed.
Cheers,
Michael
