I'm actually using EyeTV 2.4.1 (2.5.x versions sometimes freeze on my
good old PowerBook G4, and I've not yet decided whether to get EyeTV 3).

3.0 and you only 2.5.2?
I don't think so. I've received reports from people who are streaming
live TV with EyeTV 3, so the EyeTV version doesn't seem to be the
problem. It looks like it mostly depends on the hardware and on the
mode in which it's used (analog/digital).
Until now, I've received only two kinds of log files:
1.) Log files which show that the plugin is initialized and receives
data packets from EyeTV.
2.) Log files which show that the plugin is initialized, but no data
is received.
Usually, there are no data packets for anolog devices without an
encoder chip. However, according to user feedback, the same is often
true for DVB-T. At the moment, I have no idea why, and I can't test it
myself since I can't receive DVB-T where I live - at least not without
a big outdoor antenna (which I don't have).
At this point, I'm afraid there's not really much I can do. If EyeTV
doesn't provide data to the plugin (for whatever reason), then that's
it. As a workaround, I plan to support streaming in-progress
recordings, which is almost as good as live streaming, but with a
little more delay.

Andreas
