The old 0.6.x version doesn't work with 10.5. Please try the latest
alpha version: http://www.lucid-cake.net/cytv/cytv_0_7_alpha_8.dmg

Unfortunately, authentication support is not yet implemented, and due to
time constraints I can't say if/when I'll be able to integrate it.
