Same problem on my setup. Latest EyeTV version (EyeTV 3.1.2). Plug-in installed.

Client: Mac Safari/Firefox and VLC 1.0 + latest internet plug-in.

I don't get any further than "Waiting for video" on an otherwise empty screen.
