We like Rejmans Polish Kid also. Did you use Carol Ann S in the breeding? It is a bee pollinated seedling of Ms. Kennedy. I would guess that the bi color came from Carol Ann S. or Sharky. Of course, that is only conjecture when the bees do the deed. We had very little Polish Kid that year but since there was some, it too could have been the one. We have some bi color seedlings that are ID or SC and I doubt that they could have produced such a tight round flower. Margaret used Ms. Kennedy as a pollen parent on some crosses and they are looking good in second year. One is a bright red MB or min that has dark stems (not black) and very deep green leaves. First bloom just opening and it looks good so far. Soon there will be so many opening that we will not have time to keep up. Weather has been excellent here.

Could go either way but small red and white bicolors are very rare. We love Rejmans Polish Kid.

I am so happy that it is still a bicolor that I did not look too close at the form. Could go either way but small red and white bicolors are very rare. We love Rejmans Polish Kid.

Can hardly believe that second bloom is also bicolor and still looks good.
