The version of DANCE that is currently available online
(dance_v3_binary_072506.zip & dance_v3_072506_1625.zip) cannot perform
that function, although I do have another version (that I am will be
releasing as soon as I have time to polish it) that allow you to
attach an articulated object to either static geometry or other rigid
bodies like other characters. This version will include a few other
features, like scriptable controllers.
