RockNUG Birthday Bot Bash
presented by RockNUG and Aetea
Something a little different to celebrate our second birthday and first major release of the year -- a coding competition. Bring your laptop, if you want to participate, or just show up if you want to watch the sweat and the bytes fly. It is a deceptively simple competition in the spirit of the Boulders contest. No major coding required, all that is required is a logical mind and a desire to crush the competition into a pile of smoldering RAM.
Our most generous sponsor Aetea has arranged for some great swag for the winner.
We'll start out the evening with the bot basics and some demonstrations. But even if you arrive late, we'll have instructions and sample code you can use to get started whenever you arrive.
Even if you don't want to code, there will be plenty of giveaways, awesome food, and other fun. You might even learn something.
