Digital Eve Japan is an international organisation of women interested in computing, the internet and digital lifestyles and is based in Tokyo with members throughout Japan.

We host meetings, workshops and speakers to learn more about a variety of computing and net-related topics, as well as social events.

Being on this mailing list is all that is required to be a member of DigitalEve Japan. We welcome messages in English and Japanese, if you wish to participate in online coversations on topics ranging from job-hunting, how to get English software to work on a Japanese OS as well as general software and hardware discussions, through to solving each other's computer problems and hints for finding information online.

Our members are Japanese and foreign women living in Japan who span a wide range of ages, technical backgrounds, and lifestyles. Many of our members work in technology-related jobs, such as web designers/producers, programmers, videographers, technical writers, project managers and recruiters, or are seeking jobs in the field. Please join us for a network of like-minded women.

Men may participate in DE-J, helping to forward its mission of providing a supportive environment for women interested in technology.For the time being, however, men will not be invited to join the Steering Committee.
