Actually we do support this via livemarks. While they look the same, we actually built our own RSS reader in the extension to duplicate the firefox behavior....
We've looked at this ourselves and cannot repro. "Undo close tab" only appears in certain instances so my best guess is that reports of this not appearing are...

Just in case you don't know about it, there is a similar function in a firefox extension called "stumbleupon"....
