I have just uploaded a simple test program that plays mp3 tunes and wav
effects using Bass (http://www.un4seen.com/). You will find it in the
groups files section, it is a zip file called "Bass Sound Test.zip".

Subject: [DelphiGames] Including music (mp3, ogg) in games
Hi. I am new to the world of DirectX, and have only been experimenting
with a nifty component set I downloaded somewhere which vastly
simplifies tasks with DirectDraw, sprites and such. However, I intend
to venture deeper into this field soon.
One vital thing that has occurred to me is that the components I use
do not allow mp3 or ogg playback. Every game needs background music,
and as such, I was hoping to learn how to play mp3 and/or ogg files
through DirectX. Most of the guides online are demonstrated in C,
which I know nothing about. Could someone please help me?
