I installed on a 'virtual' XP computer running under Fedora 8 (linux)
one great way to test new software, and
not expensive to do. VMware workstation is $189.00 at this writing.
Have a great week, I'll add more to that post as time goes on and more

Hello,
Here's an excellent idea for that next Joomla! project about using a
simple wire frame template with no color, font or graphic set to build
the site, allows you to focus on the content, great idea! I'm going to
try this on the next new Joomla! site, and thanks to Compass Designs
blog you can too, here are the details

Hello,
Surfing this morning, and found this easy done tutorial (very well
written) on creating a PayPal payment form, from the post by Collis
Ta'eed at nettuts.com " Although it can have some issues, PayPal does
provide a very simple way to take payments on a website. And with a
little tweaking you can easily turn a PayPal "Buy Now" button into a
form where the user specifies how much they'd like to pay and what they
are paying for."
Bookmark this site, several good Tutorials to be had.

RoboForm Enterprise Password Management Application is Easier to
Implement than SSO, Eliminates Enterprise Risks Posed by Typical SSO
Central Password Database
FAIRFAX, VA — (April 7th, 2008) — Siber Systems, Inc., a company
dedicated to providing world-class computing productivity software for
enterprises and individuals, today announced it will exhibit its
breakthrough password management solution, RoboForm Enterprise, at RSA
Conference USA 2008 in San Francisco, April 7-11. RoboForm Enterprise
provides an improved, client-based strategy for Single Sign-On (SSO)
that circumvents many of the problems associated with SSO technologies
such as challenging implementation regimens and vulnerabilities to
attack at a central password database.
RoboForm Enterprise is a cost effective, easy and secure solution that
protects multiple user passwords in a highly secure software "vault."
The application securely stores employee usernames, passwords and
other confidential information using powerful AES encryption and a
user-defined master password. RoboForm Enterprise offers multiple
advantages over SSO solutions including:
Easy Implementation. RoboForm eliminates the considerable task of
assembling a central SSO password database. The RoboForm installer is
compatible with most automated software install programs, making it
easy to deploy on hundreds or even thousands of PCs.
Flexibility for Administrators. Administrators can fully customize
every feature to meet specific corporate security and password
standards. URLs can be white- or black-listed; unlike standard SSO
solutions, RoboForm easily supports both internal and external passwords.
Security for Everyone. SSO's require that passwords be stored in a
central database, making the entire enterprise vulnerable to a single
point of attack. RoboForm's distributed solution eliminates this risk
while also protecting identities, passwords and corporate data using
AES with a user-defined master password as the key.
Productivity for End Users. Users memorize only one master password.
RoboForm Enterprise remembers all the rest, and provides true
automated logins.
Cost Effective for the Bottom Line. Intuitive interface, online help,
and no server component means RoboForm provides an immediate ROI via
increased employee productivity and reduced helpdesk calls.
"RoboForm has all the benefits of Single Sign-On without all the
negatives," said Bill Carey, Siber Systems VP of Marketing. "Unlike
other SSO solutions, RoboForm Enterprise is easy to deploy, easy to
implement, and completely customizable—plus we have a trial version so
IT professionals can test it first. We've eliminated all risk."
Study Available
Siber Systems recently released a survey report entitled "Password
Management Survey: IT Managers Respond to the Impact of Password
Policies on Security and Productivity." The study found that U.S.
workers, managers, and IT staffs alike are increasingly confronted
with difficulties arising from computer passwords.
Siber Systems' report, which reflects the input from 617 IT
professionals from all levels and disciplines, detailed the
distressing state of password protection in the modern enterprise.
Over half of all respondents said the average employee in their firms
are required to remember three to five passwords, with an additional
26% saying the number ranges from six to ten or more. Nearly half said
that employees are required to use passwords more than 25 times per
week; 66% stated that employees write down or store passwords in
unsafe places, creating a security problem for their companies.
According to the survey findings, one-third of companies surveyed plan
on implementing a new or improved password management solution before
the end of calendar year 2008. "RoboForm Enterprise is solving one of
the most difficult problems companies face today – protecting
corporate data through increased password security – at a fraction of
the cost and risk of typical SSO solutions," stated Carey.
To obtain a free copy of the Siber Systems/eMedia password management
survey, visit http://www.roboform.com/enterprise/download/survey.html.
See at RSA Conference
Siber Systems will be demonstrating RoboForm Enterprise during RSA
Conference USA 2008, April 7-10 from its exhibit, Booth 850 in the
Moscone Convention Center. For more, visit the booth or log on to
www.roboform.com/enterprise.
