Working with you and Art to combine the various strengths of our work
would be interesting and fun. It could develop into something none of
us has imagined. My knowledge related to developing websites is far
less than yours. But, what I want to develop is the capacity for
select LE, clinicians, and other professionals to be able to
collaborate on profiles online using the BRACE Character Profile.
That would include generating the graphics and charts online, etc.
Sounds like a major grant to me ...

Bryan, sorry, I don't have any sources related to crime scenes, etc.
but I do have the BRACE Character Profiles of several serial killers.
Also, some of Art Silva's publications based on his
neurodevelopmental model could be used to support certain ways that
serial killers think and focus their attention (e.g., Rifkin,
Dahmer). Would it be of any use for you to develop a series of Yes-No-
Maybe questions about serial killers' fantasy activities that could
be answered based on the profiles of one or both of these models?
Russell
Any suggestions? I am nowhere near a
webmaster, but I can put some stuff together. As I am switching over to the
new server, I will have about 4 times the space as the old server. I would
really like to start a database of serial murderers with a BRACE Profile, a
Fantasy Wheel Profile and anything else we can think of. When I was talking
with Dr. Silva a few weeks ago he seemed interested in doing something very
similar to this as well. Perhaps we could join forces for a publication on
something.

What does everyone know about obtaining documentation from
crimes? I am looking to get trial transcripts, crime scene photos, police
reports, witness statements etc, or basically anything that I might use for my
research on serial murderers. Offender such as Bundy, Gacy, Dahmer and
Jack the Ripper are easy to identify their fantasy elements and are very well
documented. I need to find lesser known offenders such as Rifkin, Ball,
Bathory, Fish etc. My research is based upon finding fantasy elements,
but it must be supported by two or more sources. Has anyone ever found a
good system or developed a good network for obtaining such materials? Any
help would be great and MUCH appreciated. Thanks in advance for any
responses.

I am willing to do pro-bono and have done
so thus far. I am actually in the process of getting a non-profit status
and will be doing some marketing that way. Once I get that done, I will

Does anyone have ideas about getting started on casework? I have done
some work consulting on a few cases, but would really like to increase my networking
possibilities and working on some cold cases. It has been tough since the move
to California
since I really do not know anyone and have to start over in gathering contacts,
meeting with people etc. I am looking for ideas on marketing. Has anyone done
casework? If so, how did you make the contact?
It might be good because I think I can only

I just discovered Yahoo 360. What I am thinking about is creating
a
Yahoo 360 page that could be used to upload the graphics, etc. for a
BRACE Character Profile of interest --- perhaps one on an UNSUB as we
did with BTK. If I am reading the instructions correctly, I think all
graphics and photos have to be jpeg. What is an easy way to convert
Excel graphics and charts to jpeg?
Perhaps there are other ways for this group to use Yahoo 360. You can
set up a page that only designated "friends" can access. We could
certainly have a Yahoo 360 linked to this group.

I just discovered Yahoo 360. What I am thinking about is creating a Yahoo 360 page that could be used to upload the graphics, etc. for a BRACE Character Profile of interest --- perhaps one on an UNSUB as we did with BTK. If I am reading the instructions correctly, I think all graphics and photos have to be jpeg. What is an easy way to convert Excel graphics and charts to jpeg?
Perhaps there are other ways for this group to use Yahoo 360. You can set up a page that only designated "friends" can access. We could certainly have a Yahoo 360 linked to this group.

having a strong disliking of cold weather (lol) i havent had a
chance. but i do mean to get out, hopefully this week, and see if i
cant locate a copy. i'd order it offline, but im a bit parnoid about
ordering anything online.

a few of us are looking into this case, and glad you brought it up.
i suppose it could be possible. but is it plausible?? the connection i
see between these two victims:
1. both were arrested. andrassy for carrying a concealed weapon, and
had been picked up several times for intoxification. flo polillo had a
severe drinking problem and had been arrested for prostitution. (this
would be difficult at this point in time wheither or not the killer
knew this about them or not. my guess would be no.)
2. they were associated with people at the buttom of the social barrel
so to speak and/or people of ill repute. the poor, prostitutes pimps,
drug dealers etc. etc..
plus i have seen a few of the crime photos related to this case, all
the dismemberments and beheadings suggested that this was done by
someone who was every experienced with a large knife, i.e. butcher, or
hunter. which would make it unlikely that there was someone copying
the crimes.
I’m interested to hear more about
your thoughts. I know I’ve said it at least 10 times, but I have to buy
the book In the Wake of the Butcher and get all the evidence in the case. From
what I have seen, I believe that it may be one offender. The victims all
seemed to be pretty high risk to me (if you know more, please share).
Can you give us a name? Your profile does
not provide one.

Cleveland Torso Murders-- no one has ever solved them

believe that it is not done by one-- it could be a multi-faceted

Andrassy , and I believe that killers of the succeeding victims might

i suppose it could be possible. but is it plausible?? the connection i
see between these two victims:
1. both were arrested. andrassy for carrying a concealed weapon, and
had been picked up several times for intoxification. flo polillo had a
severe drinking problem and had been arrested for prostitution. (this
would be difficult at this point in time wheither or not the killer

Please tell your friends about this. Since I get to approve all
members, there should be no spammers, or will be easy to boot anyway
(they are very resourceful). I would like to get a larger network of
folks sharing at this location than the previous board.

It should be interesting. I am a member of
several other organizations that use similar discussion lists and it works
great.

Hi Bryan,
Thank you for the invitation. I am looking forward to the new feature
and discovering new ways to use the internet for learning and problem-
solving. The photos feature certainly has some possibilities when it
comes to pictures, graphics and charts.
I’m glad this seems to be working. I
am actually responding through email, which is a feature I really appreciate.
Send any information that you want to post. I will be posting to both the site
and here in some instances. I looked into a chat room last night and was going
to do a poll on it. I suppose I can make it anyway and if people use it they
do, if they don’t they don’t.

chatroom discussions in the furture, now that we're on yahoo.
