This group is for discussing Dexter cattle. Come here to talk about keeping one cow or many on small farms or homesteads.
It is to promote the Dexter breed. Dexters are a multi-purpose animal. They are the ideal small holder/homestead cow, backyard cow and pet. They provide food, dairy products and beef. They are also used as oxen

Discuss home dairying and raising cattle for beef or oxen on a small farm scale. Discussion of animal husbandry, health, feeding, breeding and training issues or problems is welcome.
Sales related to Dexter Cattle, small farm equipment and supplies will be allowed.

Please keep it civil and friendly. No flaming, no libel, and no spamming allowed. Violators of the rules will be removed

My opinion is that is way too young and I would not let the pregnancy carry on - it is very risky and could lead to major problems.  A single injection by you
