Here is a note to help clarify the selection of the PHA test.
If the PHA test is the only test you want, then yes, please just use the Genetic
Abnormalities and Conditions section on the Order Form. You can circle PHA on
the Order Form as a double check for the information provided on the Sample
Information Form. Most often the Sample Information Form is what will direct
the lab as to which tests you want, but it never hurts to have a double check.

There are two forms to print out when ordering the test. You will want to select
forms: the sample submission sheet and the PHA test is indicated there. On the
Ingenity "Order for beef" it lists the price and the quantity

of tests that you wish to order and all of your information.

The PHA test is now available thru INGENITY. The representative I contacted was
Courtney Kealey, Courtney.Kealey@... .
The link to the website to order the hair packets is www.ingenity.com . Click on
the "order a kit". The cost is $26.00. The application
form is listed as "forms" then go to "sample submission sheet" and print that
form.
They do either single or multiple animals.

Great!! I plan to have Molly tested for Chondro and PHA, to be safe in our
choices of bulls, but see if we will have a choice in using positive bulls or
not (at least for Chondro).

Do they have to be registered animals to be tested through Legacy for these two
things? Molly is unregistered/able.
