I thought these three items might be of interest. 1) Microcenter is
offering several free clinics of interest to our group. The info
below was taken from their newsletter. 2)MicroCenter is selling an
80 gig hard drive for $29 after rebates. 3) There will be a
presentation by Eustacio Humphrey, a very talented photographer who
happens to work at the Plain Dealer, on Tuesday of next week.

Don't miss the in-store clinics hosted by our own tech support
staff - there's no charge, and you'll learn a lot. These clinics

3)Eustacio Humphrey Presentation

Internationally recognized Plain Dealer Photographer Eustacio
Humphrey will be giving a presentation on his work
entitled "Revisiting NOI, An Artist's Thoughts and Visitions on the
Nation of Islam" on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. at
Cleveland State University. (2121 Euclid Avenue, University Center
Building, International Auditorium on the ground floor. This program
is sponsored by the Black Student Union in partnership with the
Urban League of Greater Cleveland Young Professionals. For more

-------------------------Biography info on Eustacio Humphrey --------

Eustacio Humphrey (36) is a staff photographer for The Plain Dealer.
Born in Panama, he moved to Boston at age 12. He earned a bachelor's
degree in journalism from Northeastern University and studied
documentary photography at Ohio University School of Visual
Communication for two years. Thereafter, he worked at The Palm Beach
Post as a staff photographer.

His photography has earned a number of prestigious awards and
nominations, including finalist in the 2001 Nikon Sabbatical
Documentary Photography Foundation and finalist in the 2000 World
Press Photo Foundation Master Class. In 2002, The Plain Dealer
published Humphrey's documentary "The Burden of Innocence"; it
earned awards and recognition from Harvard University Neiman
Foundation and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
His work has appeared in The New York Times, Newsweek Magazine, The
Seattle Times, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, DOUBLEtruck Magazine,
The Boston Globe, AmericanPhoto and MSNBC.com Pictures of the Week.

Humphrey is currently working on a long-term project that documents
the traditions and lives of members of the Nation of Islam. His
project began in 1998 and has taken him to many cities across the
American Midwest.
