Phillip Williams will be the speaker at the next meeting of the
Digital Photography SIG on February 16th at 6:30 p.m. Phillip is
relatively new to digital photography but has been a computer
professional since 1992, working on both Linux and Windows platforms.
His background includes running the Northeast Ohio Linux Users Group
(http://www.neonlug.org/) as well as owning Linux CD-R's
(http://linuxcdrs.com), a distribution company for Open Source
Software. He currently works as a programmer for Excellware, Inc.
Our topic will be the GIMP, a FREE open source graphics creation and
manipulation application similar to Adobe Photoshop.
Phillip will provide a FREE copy of the program to a limited number of people
