The next meeting will be Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. at
the Maple Heights Branch of the Cuyahoga County Library. This
month's topic is Adobe Photoshop. Join us this Thursday as Dan
Kozminski will show how to use Adobe Photoshop to do common tasks,
such as combining images, adjusting images that are too light/dark,
and sharpening blurry images. At other meetings we've had questions
about RAW files. If there is sufficient interest at this meeting, he
can talk about how to use RAW files for greater control and
flexibility in your pictures.
Dan describes himself as an amatuer photographer but has been taking
pictures all his life. He has been using Photoshop for several
years, and while he does not claim to be a Photoshop guru he has
used Photoshop successfully to fix many flawed images and to create
a few artistic works.
If you have an image or two that you feel needs improvement send
them to me before Tuesday evening, along with your comments. I'll
pass them on to Dan who will then discuss them at the meeting. Send
them to me at info@....
