The main objective of this group is to become a contact point for media and communication researchers interested in Digital Television.

Here we can share documents, exchange information, announce events, suggest books or articles, inform about conferences, look for collaborations, etc. This group aims to connect the efforts of all those researching in Digital Television.

This group was created after the First European Communication Conference, organised by The University of Amsterdam, The European Communication Association (ECA) and The European Consortium for Communications Research (ECCR)[Amsterdam, November 24th-26th, 2005]. The participants in the Panel 5G ("Digital Television") agreed on starting this initiative.
