Does anyone have experience with <prolog> specialisation?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #524 of 16236 |
Hi,

We are trying to determine how to specialise DITA <prolog> to meet
our business needs. We don't have radical changes to make, but we
have business rules about what kind of change history information we
create, levels of metadata about our products, for example.

We think we need to replace the DITA prolog with a specialised
<nokia_prolog>.

We have considered:

- Using domain specialisation - but domain specialisation seems to
enable us to add a <nokia_prolog> in addition to the existing DITA
prolog but not to replace it.

- Using topic specialisation - but this means we have to specialise
for every DTD

Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on how <prolog>
specialisation should be handled and the implications of
specialisation?

Thanks.

Indi
