I am pleased to announce the availability of Release 1.1 of the DITA Open
Toolkit. Release 1.1 is a major release that adds new functions, fulfills
new requirements, makes some function enhancements and fixes bugs over
releases 1.0.2 and before.
In particular, Release 1.1 implements the new OASIS DITA 1.0 standard for
DITA DTDs and Schemas. The line item changes for this release are as

The 2.2 meg file you download will uncompress into its own new
directory--it will not overlay previous installations. Windows users, go
for the *bin.zip version.
